Happy Friday to Everyone :)

Last Saturday, I shot my second wedding of the year @ Fratello's http://www.fratellos.com/ last Saturday with Jen & Chris Mitchell...Jen and Chris are amazing people and I was very excited to be a part of their day. Hi Everyone,

Sorry for not blogging much this week...busy week...we had several bookings :) aka couples signing on to have us do their wedding...Candy's son Indy turned 10 on Thursday and we took him out to eat and all that good stuff...Kevin's first week in managing post production was very successful...We are working on some strategic relationships to increase our business and should be making an announcement soon...very exciting stuff :)

I did my first wedding of the year last Sat...here are a few images of that day...enjoy and let me know what you think...very good looking couple...

Happy Valentine's Day!

One of the questions I get quite a bit is how far in advance should I book you?...the answer is that it depends...it depends on how far out your wedding is...the average booking for us occurs 10-14 months in advance of the wedding day. I always tell people that as soon as you know the day you should book the photography (yes you read that right...even before or as you are getting the venue)...why?...because that is the single point where memories will be documented, emotions will be captured...and you want the best possible person for that day...

So what if you didn't have 10-14 months in advance to plan?...Although your time frame will be a bit less, you still have opporutnity...the best thing that I can advise you on is to be as organized as you can...and ask for help...I know of so many great venues, great florists, DJ's, etc...so I am happy to offer assistance where I can...or at least point you in the right direction...

In other news with us, I am happy to announce that Kevin Jacobus has joined our team and is starting tomorrow...Kevin is going to oversee the day to day operations for post production work. Right now Kevin shoots weddings for me and has done an incredible job...couples love him and I am fortunate to have him be a part of NH Images...Kevin will also assist me on the sales and marketing side of the business and will be an advisor as we go after emerging markets...

Also, my partner Jaime Wood is expecting a new bundle of joy this September...for those of you who don't know Jaime, she is the Vice President of Video Services for NH Images...Jaime and I have teamed up officially since 2006, but I have known her for much longer...she does a great job shooting and editing video as well as managing a growing team of elite videographers...

Well since we are on the baby topic, my girlfriend and I are expecting our first child this July...a baby boy no less!!!!!...our little bundle will add to our growing family...I have a daughter, Olivia who is 8 and my son Troy is 5...Candy has a son who is about to turn 10 next week....more coming soon...have a great night...

marriage proposal

Hi Everyone,

As many of you now know we have completed our first photography session of an actual marriage proposal...We have shot an incredible amount of weddings, but more and more people are actually looking for a complete story of their weddings lives from the very beginning all the way through to the special day...here are some images from that session...I have personally done around 200 or so weddings and I was probably just as nervous as the groom to be that night...it was so important for me to capture everything as it was happening.

I cannot believe the positive response we have received so far...in the day and age of Facebook, MySpace and YouTube it seems more and more people want their lives captured in a unique and special way...more stuff to come...
