Let's Tell Your Story!

Karen + Kira | A Kimpton Taconic Hotel Wedding

Taconic Hotel Winter Wedding

Karen + Kira live in Australia and met at The Bank Hotel, Newtown (Sydney) on Anzac Day 2016 (April 25th), through a mutual friend. After a few drinks, their mutual friend and her partner had a lightbulb moment......"You two are both single"......for the next hour or so they were made to hold hands and their phone numbers were exchanged courteous of said friends. A lunch catch up was organized for the following day, with the whole group. Needless to say they were set up...conveniently everyone else bailed, except Karen + Kira. They had a 7 hr lunch and saw each other every day that week. They lived 8 hours apart so it wasn't until June that they made it official.  As a couple, Karen + Kira enjoy holidays, chasing the snow, snowboarding, drinking wine, hanging with their two crazy dogs, theatre shows, fine dining and catching up with friends.

When Kira proposed to Karen, they were on a snowboard trip in Whistler, Canada.  Kira had decided that there was no better place to pop the question but during the trip considering their love for the snow and snowboarding. One night after dinner (after carrying the ring around for days) they took a walk around the Whistler Village, through the snow and fairy lights. Kira had made a short video, accompanied with music, which was of their relationship thus far. The last slide of the video being of a ring. Kira got down on one knee and proposed. Karen, a blubbering mess, eventually said yes (She claims that, through the tears, she did not see the ring)!!

Karen + Kira were married on February 6th surrounded by their closest family and friends at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester Vermont.  With only 14 attendees to the wedding, Karen + Kira did things a little non-traditional by getting ready in the same room together and already being at the altar to welcome their guests when they arrived to the ceremony.

Avery + Kevin's Wedding at Monadnock Berries

Monadnock-Berries-Wedding-NH-Images-Photography_0001

Avery and Kevin were married on August 12th, with a ceremony and reception at Monadnock Berries in Troy, New Hampshire.

These two live in Virginia but came up here to have their wedding, and I’m glad they did. They picked an amazing venue that had gorgeous mountains as a backdrop, which added a feeling of grandeur to the ceremony that New Hampshire destination weddings are known for. You can’t find these backdrops in any other place!

Avery and Kevin’s Monadnock Berries Wedding

In particular, Monadnock Berries makes for a rustic, colorful setting. This farm is a pick-your-own berry farm that also brews ales and is absolutely the perfect setting for a farm wedding. With lush greenery and plenty of spots to stop and admire the view, it suited these two exactly. Because this New Hampshire wedding venue is family-owned, it also has that warmth that Avery and Kevin embody.

Avery and Kevin brought plenty of their college friends up for their wedding. It was fun to watch them interacting with that group. It’s so clear that they’re all close! Because of the nature of the venue, Avery and Kevin’s guests could pick some wild blueberries in the fields, and they all had a good time together—another good reason for their choice in venue.

Even though it was a rough week for weather, the rain held off long enough for some amazing outdoor pictures. And at the last moment, the sun broke through, painting a beautiful picture across the sky for some stunning backdrops. When the weather decides to surprise us with something that dramatic, it’s the perfect send-off for a romantic wedding day.

Thank you, Avery & Kevin, for coming to New Hampshire for your destination wedding! It was a pleasure to be your wedding photographer. I’d like to also thank Locomotion DJ and Monadnock Berries for their hospitality.

Let's Tell Your Story!

Lauren + Ryan | A Mount Washington Hotel Wedding

Omni Mount Washington Hotel wedding photo

Lauren + Ryan were friends throughout most of high school.  He was at a different technical school but they had many mutual friends so they bumped into each other often. During Lauren's freshman year of college she was home for winter break and Ryan asked her out on a date! She was hesitant at first because she only thought of him as a good friend, but gave it a shot and it was the best decision she ever made!

As a couple, they love to hike in the White Mountains together and have hiked 26 of the NH 48 4,000 footers. They share a passion for fly fishing, both in freshwater rivers and the ocean and also have a love for craft beer and enjoy discovering new IPAs while going to different breweries.

Ryan proposed on Christmas Eve of 2016.  Lauren didn't have a clue it was coming but everyone else knew. They have a party each year so Lauren's entire family was over, and they invited Ryan's parents as well. With the help of Lauren's sisters, he decorated her parents' wine room in the basement with candles, rose petals and a beautiful cake. Once everyone had arrived, Lauren's Dad asked her to "go downstairs to get another bottle of wine". She was confused, because there was plenty of wine upstairs. The third time he asked her, she finally went down and noticed Ryan was following her. She assumed he wanted some alone time to say hello (he had barely spoken to her the whole night). When she walked into the room and turned on the light, she was in complete shock and could not really comprehend what was happening. Then Ryan gave her a present to open.... a small box. Her hands were shaking as she opened a snow angel ornament with a gorgeous ring tied to it! Then he got down on one knee and proposed! When they went back upstairs, everyone cheered with joy and congratulated them with hugs and champagne.

Lauren + Ryan got married on August 18th surrounded by their closest family and friends at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods NH.  It was such an honor to share in the day with them.  Here's their Movie Trailer Film!  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Let's Tell Your Story!

Caitlin + Dan's Wedding at Searles Castle

Caitlin and Dan were married on July 13th, with a ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas in Derry and a reception at Searles Castle in Windham.

We wanted to feature this wedding particularly because the wedding planner who hired us is one of our favorites. Tracy Dapp and her crew from Inked Events are always a treat to work with. We wanted to thank them for making this wedding—and all of the weddings that they’ve worked with us to plan—run so smoothly. Tracy truly excels at helping couples express what matters most to them and we felt like Caitlin and Dan’s love story was captured in all the details of their wedding day. From the stunning florals to the shamrock details on their cupcakes, so much of their wedding day reflected their vision.

Caitlin and Dan’s Searles Castle Wedding

On the day of the wedding, we covered both the bride and groom as they got ready, with second shooter Bruce Preston hanging out with the guys to start the day. We knew that Caitlin and Dan had both worked so hard to prepare for this big day, and the anticipation of the culmination of their story up to that point was palpable. Caitlin looked so excited in all the images leading up to the ceremony.

St. Thomas Aquinas was an amazing backdrop for their ceremony, with its soaring ceilings and stunning stained glass windows. The wedding itself was very traditional, from Caitlin’s grand entrance as her father walked her down the aisle to the receiving line at the end of the ceremony. That’s something that you hardly see anymore, but it was fun to see the bride and groom as they greeted friends and family and celebrated together. After the ceremony, we did portraits with the bride, groom and wedding party.

The reception at the Searles Castle was nothing short of wonderful. From the very moment that Caitlin and Dan were introduced as husband and wife, every moment was filled with joy and smiles.

Dan & Caitlin, we want to with both of you all the best in your new lives together. Thank you for letting us be part of your celebration.

Caitlin + Brett | Inn on Newfound Lake NH Wedding Videography

Movie Trailer 010008;21

Caitlin + Brett met through online dating but soon realized that they had mutual friends in common!  As a couple, they are very active together: run road races together, play on a rec volleyball team, and take workout classes at the gym. They like to relax at the lake, travel, visit with family and friends.

On St. Patrick’s Day (Caitlin’s favorite holiday), Brett proposed at their home and completely surprised Caitlin! She thought they were going out to celebrate at a local Irish bar, but when she came home he was all dressed up in a suit and a green tie with champagne (and some Guinness) on the table! He got down on one knee and asked Caitlin to spend the rest of her life with him.  Of course she said yes!

Let's Tell Your Story!

Erin + Michael | Portsmouth Harbor Events Center Seacoast NH Wedding Videography

seacoast nh wedding videographer

Erin + Michael met through two of Erin's good friends. They first met in Lynchburg where Erin was going to school at the time and the rest is history!  As a couple, Erin + Michael have a really awesome core group of friends that they get to hang out with often. They go out to eat at cool places in Roanoke, go to outdoor concerts during the summer and just love to be outside when they can.

When Michael proposed, they had planned on going out and celebrating their 2 year anniversary on August 12th. At the last minute (at least Erin thought it was last minute--but Michael had it all planned) Michael asked if they could go out that Wednesday before which was August 9th. Erin agreed and thought nothing of it. She got off work and he told her that they had reservations for dinner. Erin got ready and they headed out. Michael said they were going to go up to the Mill Mountain Star (a Roanoke Virginia landmark) and halfway up the mountain he said he had a surprise and that she needed to close her eyes. When he told her to open her eyes she didn't see anything and was rather confused. They then walked up to the lookout at the mountain and he said he was going to be right back. A few minutes later his uncle tapped Erin on the shoulder and she said "what are you doing here?" She turned around even more to see her parents standing there.  She then looked up even more and ALL of their family and friends were standing around. Erin's parents stepped aside and Michael took her hand and got down on one knee.  She of course said YES!

Erin + Michael got married at the South Church in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire and had their reception at the Portsmouth Harbor Events Center.  It was such an honor to share in the day with them.  Here's their Movie Trailer Film!  Enjoy!  {Jaime, Mike + Zach}

Let's Tell Your Story!

Jamie + Bobby's Wedding

Dell Lea Wedding NH Images

Jamie and Bobby were married on July 7th, with a ceremony and reception at Dell-Lea in Chichester, New Hampshire.

Bobby was Jamie’s first ever kiss! Everyone who heard that story thought it was incredibly sweet… even though after that first kiss Jamie ran away. (Everyone was young once.) Still, even after all that time apart—in which Bobby had kids of his own and Jamie pursued a life as a teacher and made some amazing friends—they were able to reconnect three years ago. And this time, no one ran away. Instead, they picked up their romance and ran with it.

Dell-Lea Wedding Photography

Even though it was a hot summer day, we enjoyed being around this beautiful blended family through the excitement before the ceremony and into the wedding and reception. It’s amazing not only to see a love story come together that has been so long in the making but to watch the different sides of their family all come together to celebrate—and eat cupcakes.

Dell-Lea has been voted the best wedding venue in New Hampshire. With its stunning mountain views, meticulously landscaped lawns and a perfect ambiance of rustic elegance, it’s not hard to see why. Jamie and Bobby had a beautiful backdrop for their “I do’s.”

We were also particularly pleased with the creative wedding photography we captured in that warm, light just before sunset. The light was amazing and framed them just right. We always try to get those perfectly-lit images in those golden, twilight hours. There’s something so special about preserving the first sunset a married couple shares as husband and wife.

Jamie & Bobby, thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. We wish you nothing but the best in your lives together with your beautiful family.

Pam + Craig | Bedford Village Inn Wedding Videography

Bedford Village Inn wedding video

Pam + Craig met online on a website called How About We where people match through date ideas rather than scrolling through profiles (How about we...get coffee in the park, etc.). Craig thought that his account had expired until one day he received a message from Pam who was interested in getting together. After several dates it was apparent that they were a perfect match.

As a couple, they love to hike, and have started a quest to hike all of the 4000 foot peaks in New Hampshire. They also enjoy walking their dog Luke, who they rescued 2.5 years ago. They have developed a love of traveling, and have visited various states, the country of Guadeloupe, and Italy since they started dating.

Pam + Craig got engaged on December 10, 2016. They decided to spend the afternoon in downtown Boston exploring all the Christmas decorations and activities. Craig set up a dinner reservation in the North End to celebrate their recent accomplishments at work. Secretly, he also wanted to get her close to Christopher Columbus Park where he planned to propose under the Christmas lights. After dinner they strolled over to the park where Craig got down on one knee and asked Pam to marry him. She of course said yes!

Let's Tell Your Story!

Christine + Spencer's Wedding

Mount-Sunapee-Resort-Wedding-NH-Images-Photography_0011

Christine and Spencer were married on June 30th, with a ceremony and reception at Mount Sunapee Resort.

It’s not often that we get to see so many people from all over the country coming to New Hampshire, but for Christine and Spencer, the flood of loving, supportive friends and family members was amazing to see. Even though it was very, very, very hot and humid, nothing could stop the party atmosphere that followed Christine and Spencer and their friends as they celebrated the day.

We especially loved to photograph the flower girl, who was super cute. Almost every wedding has someone like her to completely steal the show and the hearts of everyone at the wedding. But that was typical of the whole group: nothing could slow them down.

My second shooter, Bruce Preston, and I photographed both Christine and Spencer as they got ready and then headed to a first look. The moment that Spencer saw Christine for the first time was unforgettable, as was the way he embraced her. This is what wedding photography is all about: those moments of pure, unfiltered emotion.

Mount Sunapee Wedding Photography

We also loved photographing at Mount Sunapee Resort. You could see for miles with the view, and any picture that shows off that picturesque scenery is among our favorites of the day. Can you blame us? While Mount Sunapee is often known as a skiing location, it’s also perfect for a summer wedding, with mountains in the background as well as a lake view that caught our attention as soon as we arrived to the venue. We would definitely love to come back here in the future and would recommend it as a great wedding destination for any future brides and grooms.

We want to wish Christine and Spencer all the happiness in their new lives together. Thank you for asking us to be part of your wedding memories!

Caitlyn + Mike's Wedding

Hampton Victoria Inn Wedding NH Images Photography

Caitlin and Mike were married on June 23rd, with a ceremony at Fuller Gardens in Rye and a reception at the Victoria Inn in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Caitlin + Mike: Fuller Gardens Wedding Photography

These two began their love story when Caitlin moved to the same town as Mike. As Mike put it on their actual wedding day, he swooped in before anyone else could ask out this beautiful woman. It’s obvious that they’re both glad he did. The two of them are deeply in love and even have a baby boy together, with another one on the way.

We loved how they made sure to keep their whole family involved in the day. Lorenzo, their little boy, was the perfect ringbearer for the occasion. It’s clear that they’re ready to be a family of four, so we tried to capture as much of that love and excitement as we could as we photographed them throughout the day.

We were able to get some amazing pictures at Fuller Gardens while we were doing portraits. Thankfully, the weather held out for us just long enough for us to take full advantage of the beautiful spot. I can’t believe we beat the rain—the skies opened up when we weren’t trying to take those outside pictures, so we timed it perfectly. I’m particularly proud of the photo of the two of them through the tree branches. It just spoke to me—especially in black and white.

The Victoria Inn Wedding Reception

After the ceremony and wedding portrait photography, we headed to the Victoria Inn and Pavilion in Hampton for the wedding reception. The garden Pavilion at the Victoria Inn is a beautiful New Hampshire wedding venue, surrounded by fragrant rose bushes and lush greenery. There was so much love as friends and family celebrated Mike and Caitlin’s new adventure as husband and wife.

Mike & Caitlin, thank you for letting us be part of your celebrations. We want to wish you and your growing family the best as you take on the world together. From what we’ve seen, we know your future is bright.

Ashley + Ben | Dell Lea Chichester NH Wedding Video

Dell Lea wedding
Ashley works with Ben's sister, Samantha, at Hallsville School in Manchester and back in 2015, Ben and Ashley were both online dating with no success, so Sam suggested to Ben that he and Ashley go out. They started texting and went on a first date within a week. It was a match from the start!

Ashley + Ben are both teachers...Ashley teaches Kindergarten and Ben teaches High School Economics, so they have the same schedules! When they are not at school, they enjoy walking around Downtown Manchester, trying new places to eat, reading and taking photos, the typical stuff. They both like to explore new places and take day trips and also like to spend time with family and close friends. Ben has a passion for history and politics, which Ashley is slowly starting to appreciate, as well. Ashley loves scrapbooking and crafts, brunch, pugs and giraffes. Ben has a radio show about Manchester called The Weekly Dion, which he prepares for each week and books guests to interview on the air. He is also on the Manchester Heritage Commission. Ashley has a second job as a Lego Camp Director.

When Ben proposed, he and Ashley went to Boston, their favorite city, for the day during April school vacation. Ben asked a random stranger (with an adorable dog that Ashley loves!) to take a picture of them down by the water, and secretly told the woman to video what was going to be the proposal! Ashley got ready to pose for the picture and Ben got down on one knee. She of course said YES!

Atkinson Country Club Wedding
Meaghan + Robert met in high school. They both attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. They were friendly throughout high school and attended their senior prom as friends. Robert went off to college at Saint Joseph's College in Maine and Meaghan went to Endicott College in Massachusetts. They began dating shortly after that.  As a couple, Meaghan + Robert enjoy traveling, kayaking, and going for walks.

When Robert proposed, they had gone up to Ogunquit, Maine for a day trip to walk along Marginal Way and have dinner. It was a beautiful sunny day. They were walking along the path and decided to take a break and sit at one of the benches near the water. There, Robert shared some sweet words, got down on one knee, and asked Meaghan to marry him. She of course said YES!  After dinner, they went back to Meaghan's parents' house in Atkinson, NH where their families were waiting.

Let's Tell Your Story!

Jess + Andy | Alyson's Orchard Walpole NH Wedding Video

Alyson's Orchard Walpole NH Wedding
When Jess + Andy first met, it was a cool day in late August. The forecast looked grim... hurricane Irene was approaching the New York City area with mounting speed.

Two friends were planning a little get-together for their friends in the area so no one would be alone if the hurricane knocked out power, public transportation, and fun. Guests were invited to eat, drink, and be merry while Irene did her damage.  A hurricane party!

Andy showed up with a gallon of drinking water, canned food, a flashlight, and batteries.

Jess showed up with champagne, tortilla chips, and salsa.

They do say opposites attract, right?

The rest is your typical romance story.  They took it slow for the first few months, declared love during a joint birthday party, moved into the apartment they met in, moved many more times, went to Madrid, got engaged in a castle in Dublin, and become a family of three (puppy!).

Jess + Andy had a beautiful wedding at Alyson's Orchard in Walpole NH.  The weather was not perfect much like the day they first met.  There wasn't a hurricane, however it did downpour during their ceremony.  Jess + Andy continued on with the biggest smiles and didn't let the rain dampen their spirits.  It was such an honor to share in the day with them.  Here's their Movie Trailer Film.... oh and make sure you watch until the end when Jess + Andy play their way out of the ceremony!  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Let's Tell Your Story!

Kelsey + Ryan | Backyard Wedding

Backyard Wedding NH Photography

Kelsey and Ryan were married on June 16th, with a ceremony and reception at a private residence in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire.

I was personally excited for this wedding, as Kelsey went to the University of Maine, which happens to be my alma mater. Having a personal connection like that honestly makes weddings more fun! Ryan went to the University of New England, but he was still fun to photograph too, of course.

Both Ryan and Kelsey have an amazing connection with their friends and family, especially because they met because of those relationships that they hold dear. They made an instant connection at a party with their family and friends, and everyone there could see it. So, as friends do, they encouraged that spark. You can bet everyone at this wedding was excited to see that love story come to fruition! This wedding party lasted late into the evening. A few of their friends even stayed over and pitched tents on the property, so that they could all have a little more time together.

Kelsey and Ryan’s Backyard Wedding

The day of the wedding was the first really warm Saturday of the year. New England weather is often unpredictable when it comes to when seasons decide to change. Not only did we get good weather, but also amazing backdrops all over the property. When we arrived to do some “getting ready” shots, we were rewarded with a gorgeous summer shoot. Kelsey and Ryan put in so much work for this backyard DIY wedding. They rebuilt a barn on the property and even had a hand-built arbor. Those details make all the difference in weddings—and they mean even more when you add in that much effort.

Everyone in the wedding looked so happy and relaxed through the afternoon. One of the benefits of a backyard wedding is the rustic feeling of intimacy that it creates. It was a beautiful day for this couple to begin the rest of their lives as husband and wife.

Kelsey & Ryan, we wish you nothing but the best in your new life together. Thank you for pulling together an amazing wedding that we won’t soon forget and, of course, thank you for having us provide your New Hampshire wedding photography! It was an honor.

Jenna + Matt | LaBelle Winery Amherst NH Wedding Video

Bodwell2

Jenna + Matt met in 2014 during his last year at The University of Southern Maine. Jenna had graduated from UNH a few years before, and recently moved back to her Maine hometown. It was Saturday night and they were both out bar hopping with friends in Portland's Old Port. Their first "date" consisted of Matt holding Jenna's hand as they walked down Fore Street, dancing the night away, and ended with a kiss in public before they parted ways. They spent time together off and on for the remainder of the school year and when Matt went home after graduation, they decided to continue a long distance relationship. A few years later Jenna made the big move to Massachusetts permanently, along with her dog and the rest is history!

Matt has a crazy work schedule that prevents them from spending a lot of time with each other. So on the rare days that they do have together, they cherish. Jenna + Matt planned a weekend getaway to Newport, Rhode Island for some fun and R&R. Leading up to their mini vacation, Matt asked Jenna's parents for their blessing and told their families that he was going to propose. She had put so much pressure on him... "make sure if you decide to propose someday that my nails look good, I have a cute outfit on, there's someone there to take a picture..." He made an elaborate plan, but the weather didn't cooperate. It was cold and it rained off and on most of the weekend. Matt ended up proposing in front of Castle Hill Lighthouse, with the most beautiful view in the background. Jenna was in yoga pants and a sweatshirt. There was not a single person in sight. But it was still perfect.

Jenna + Matt had a vineyard wedding on a beautiful June day at LaBelle WineryIt was such an honor to share in the day with them.  Here's their Movie Trailer Film!  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Alyssa + John | Currier Museum Wedding

Currier Museum Wedding NH Images Photography & Video

Alyssa and John were married on June 9th, with a ceremony and reception at the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Both Alyssa and John are attorneys—which is actually how they met. In fact, both of their families are filled with fellow law professionals, and it was Alyssa’s Aunt Helen who used that connection to get these two together. She set them up at a new lawyer function, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Currier Museum Wedding Photography

We were impressed with the venue that Alyssa and John chose for their wedding. Weddings at the Currier Museum are a treat for Manchester wedding photographers. The art museum was a unique choice, but it reflected their personalities perfectly. With plenty of nooks and crannies that my second shooter, Bruce Preston, and I were able to take advantage of for portraits. Every corner inspired creativity and the colors from the artwork provided a beautiful backdrop. The museum has a wide, handsome stone staircase they use as an aisle to the altar. Alyssa descended the staircase, making for some dramatic, beautiful pictures of her grand entrance.

One image, in particular of the two of them on the stairs was so special. The light fell just right, so that it looked like they were posing for a romantic movie poster. It honestly looked like a spotlight had fallen on the two of them. Add to that the fact that they couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, and the romantic ambiance was complete.

Alyssa & John, thank you for letting us be part of your summer wedding celebrations. It was an honor to provide your wedding photography. We enjoyed getting to see such a unique wedding and know that the two of you will continue to walk your own paths together.

Let's Tell Your Story!

Alyshia + Chuck | Church Landing Meredith NH Wedding Video

Movie Trailer 010359;21

It all started in the beginning of 2011 when two of Alyshia + Chuck's closest friends decided to play matchmaker. After a couple of double dates to break the ice + one embarrassing night of bowling, the training wheels were off.  Refusing to wait for the weekend, Chuck decided to ask Alyshia out on a Wednesday. They headed downtown for some conversation over drinks. Once the necessary, “get to know each other”, dialogue ran its course, the butterflies disappeared and real date began. Before they knew it, last-call would interrupt the night. They both decided to continue the conversation back at Alyshia’s place.

While talking in her driveway, Chuck felt pretty confident that he could sneak in a kiss.  Chuck leaned over and hit the mark! Alyshia must have been blown away, or something along those lines, because there was no reaction. Let's just say, she was at a loss for words.  Instead of tucking tail and running away, Chuck decided not to give up and Alyshia invited him inside. For the next few hours, they stayed up talking; completely forgetting that work existed in the morning. The lack of sleep made it all worthwhile.  Many awkward kisses later, they became inseparable.

When Chuck prosposed, they had recently bought a house in Auburn but felt something was missing.
Even with the helping hands of friends + family, moving day was exhausting. Night hit and the final task was to build a bed frame around the mattress. Once the dust settled, they fell back into bed and stared at an empty bedroom. Hoping for some peace and quiet, Alyshia remained awake to the sound of Chuck’s babbling. She soon realized why he was acting so strange and began to liven up. Still in bed, Chuck whipped out a ring he hid behind a pillow + popped the big question.

Alyshia + Chuck got married at Church Landing in Meredith NH, surrounded by the most important people in their lives.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Here's their Movie Trailer Film!  Enjoy!  {Jaime, Iris + Kevin}

Let's Tell Your Story!

Kim + Chris | Crowne Plaza Nashua | NH Wedding Videography

bride_groom_sparklers.jpg

Kim + Chris met each other was when Chris was moving into his dorm room for his first semester of graduate school at the University of New England in Portland, Maine where Kim was a residential advisor. While he was moving in she walked by his room as Chris + his family were struggling with adjusting the beds. She introduced herself and asked if they needed a hammer so they could properly adjust them. It wasn't until the next year that they started to hang out more. Kim lived in the room right above Chris' and the first day he moved in she invited him to a party in her room. Chris + Kim were partners during a game of Cranium, and found themselves laughing and having a great time. Chris had made a trip back home for Thanksgiving break and was about to head to bed when he got a text from Kim saying "Hey". He responded with a casual "What's up" and after several minutes she sent Chris a long text telling him how she felt about him and the rest is history.

As a couple, Kim + Chris like to go on adventures. They like to see new things, even if it's just driving around new roads to see where they lead. They go to the movies a lot and like to mini golf, apple pick, and see historic buildings like the Newport Mansions. They also like to go on wine tastings, try new wineries and like to cook together.

On September 26, 2015 Kim + Chris left for vacation to Disney World. Their first day was spent in Animal Kingdom and after dinner they went back to their hotel to get their luggage before heading to Magic Kingdom. Their luggage took an hour to get from the lobby to them and apparently this changed Chris' plans because by the time they got to Magic Kingdom, Main Street was packed with people waiting for the parade to end and the Fireworks to start. Now usually, Kim + Chris skip out on the parade and fireworks because the lines for rides are shorter. But all of a sudden, Chris wanted to go watch the fireworks. At this point, Kim was starting to get annoyed because she didn't want to watch the fireworks and there was no good place to stand with a view. Finally Chris got them to the front of the castle... and a pole, which made no sense to Kim since they couldn't see the fireworks anyways. Kim was telling Chris she couldn't see and next thing she knew, Chris was down on one knee while hearing the guy next to them say "Are you freaking kidding me? This only happens in the movies!"  Of course she said YES!!

Kim + Chris were married at The Crowne Plaza in Nashua NH.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Movie Trailer Film!  {Jaime, Kevin + Zach}

Let's Tell Your Story!

Jessica + Jonathan | Castle In The Clouds | NH Wedding Videographer

Castle In The Clouds Waterfall

Jessica + Jonathan  met online through Ok Cupid. The day Jessica had made the decision to leave the site, she received a message from Jonathan and decided to reply as she was intrigued. Once they started speaking with one another they simply could not stop.

As a couple, Jessica + Jonathan love to go to concerts, exploring different venues and traveling to new places.  They love spending time in Wolfeboro and spending time with their families. They also love kayaking, swimming, and particularly enjoy going for walks around their small town of Marblehead MA and enjoying the ocean.

The amazing proposal story (as told by Jessica + Jonathan):
-----
Jonathan arrived home from work on Friday July 3rd. Jessica's mother had offered to pick him up from work so that Jessica would have more time to clean the house in preparation of his sister coming and staying over for the fourth of July weekend. Jonathan's sister would be the first person to sleep over their house and knowing herself, Jessica had made the decision that the already cleanly house would be scrubbed from top to bottom. When Jonathan arrived home, Jessica had just stepped out of the shower and thrown on some comfy clothes and was ready to sit and enjoy the vanilla fragranced air. Jonathan seemed happy and asked if they could go to the lighthouse. He had not even set foot inside and already had stated, “Are you ready to go?” Jessica looked down at her black stretch pants and her Eagles T-shirt and replied, “Can I just throw some other clothes on?” Jonathan laughed and said of course and then stated “but we can go right?” Knowing he had been stressed during the workweek, Jessica thought going to the lighthouse might ease his mind. “Of course, just give me a few minutes and then we’ll head out” she responded. Jessica dressed herself up, and finally Jonathan, Angel (their dog) and Jessica were on their way to Chandler Hovey Park aka The Lighthouse. The parking lot was relatively full, yet we still found a spot that overlooked the water and the park. Angel jumped up with her two paws on the window, and her cold dog nose pressed against the window, tail wagging. We all were home. We stepped out from the car and made our way over to some of our favorite places. Angel prancing in front of us tail wagging and nose in the air. We found a bench apart from the other lighthouse goers, and sat down hand in hand. Jonathan looked into Jessica's eyes and said, “I really do love you Jessica.” “I know you do Hun.” “No, but I really love you and I want you to know that.” “I do, and I really love you.” He then began to speak of the time he realized that he wanted to marry Jessica. He stated, “It was when we used to go the lighthouse and talk for hours. I also knew when we moved in together.” He asked her when she knew she wanted to spend her life with him. “I knew from the first time we met. I think the one moment though that stands out though was when I was crying in the kitchen early on in our relationship and instead of telling me to stop crying or that it was stupid, you just hugged me and told me it will all be okay. I said to you, ‘it’s stupid’ and you gently tilted my chin up and your eyes locked with mine and your fingers wiped away my tears and you said, ‘if you are crying it is never stupid, you feel how you feel and I am here to help.’ I have never been treated that way by a male before and for the first time I felt protected and loved.” We both sat and talked some more about our past and Angel would hop up on the bench as she was beginning to feel left out and wanted to make sure she had some loving too. Jonathan stated that he wanted to take pictures (as he always does when we go to the lighthouse). So we got up from our bench and walked from one end of the lighthouse to another. Jessica let Jonathan walk ahead as Angel decided to roll around in the grass on multiple occasions. Finally we met each other and found another bench and sat and talked. Jonathan then said he wanted to find the best place to watch the sunset. So we headed over to the enclosed bench area, Angel rolling in the grass along the way, and found a bench in the middle that aligned with the sinking orange sun. Jessica asked Jonathan if she could look at the pictures he took (as she always does) and he passed her his phone and then got off the bench to give affection to the dog who had been waiting patiently for his attention. Jessica scrolled through the pictures of the glowing horizon and of the silhouettes of the distant shores. She then came across a picture of a heart drawn in the sand that stated “Marry Me.” She looked up quickly and then down, and swiped the picture back and then forward again, just to make sure her eyes were not playing tricks on her. As she looked up, she saw Jonathan on one knee as the glowing orange sun just kissed the sea behind him and he held out a ring box and asked, “Jessica will you marry me?” She said, “Yes” and he gently placed the ring on my finger and kissed her lips. We sat on the bench and held each other as the sun continued to set. He then ran back to the car and came back with two wine glasses that read “When one day, becomes today” and we took our first sips as fiancé and fiancee and cheered to the journey ahead of us and one day becoming today.

Let's Tell Your Story!

Sarah + Kevin | A Private Estate Wedding | NH Wedding Videographer

090917_Sarah&Kevin_SneakPeek.jpg

Sarah + Kevin grew up with mutual friends but never actually met until April 2007. They met at a friends party, when Kevin asked Sarah if she wanted any of the shrimp that he decided to cook. Sarah naturally said "no thank you", laughed and walked away to talk with friends. The entire night she kept telling her friends how cute he was but she was too chicken to actually talk to him. Then the night ended and they went out separate ways and Sarah figured they would never see each other again. A couple days later, Sarah was sitting at home on the computer and was talking to a few friends when she then got a random message from Jereme (Kevin's unofficial cousin who she actually when to Elementary, Middle, and High School with). He said something along the lines of, "My cousin Kevin wants to hang out with you. She said," Ok, that sounds fun." The next night they watched a few movies and then Sarah had to beg Jereme's girlfriend to bring her home because she had school the next day. So, Kevin walked her to the door to say bye. They exchanged numbers, he gave her a hug and she kissed him. The next day he called her and asked her out on an official date.

On November 3, 2017 Sarah found a funny meme online that said, "November 3rd - National Men Make Dinner Day". So she sent it to Kevin.  They laughed and he asked what she wanted for dinner. To keep it simple, she just said Chicken and Salad. So, after working all day, she came home to a nice clean house, dinner on the table and 1 dozen roses. She was totally convinced that they were never going to get engaged (they had been together for 9 1/2 years already) so, she didn't think anything of it when she came home to this amazing production. Once they were done eating, Kevin took her hand and said that he already planned on making her dinner and that today was going to be a special day. Kevin then gets down on one knee, tells her how much he loves her and asked her to marry him.

As a couple, Sarah + Kevin love doing anything that involves being outside like hiking, biking, going to the Lake, working on their yard, and gardening.

Sarah + Kevin were married on Saturday September 9th at Kevin's parents house in Sandown NH.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek film!  {Jaime + Zach}

Since Katie and her sister are only a year apart they hung out a lot. They officially met when Eric was at her house one day swimming.  After meeting that night they ended up spending the entire summer together before officially dating on September 8th. Eleven years later they are getting married!

When Eric proposed, they were spending the weekend at his Aunts house up in North Conway like they typically do during the winter. Corey + Dustin met initially as coworkers, but their lives were taken in different directions. A year later their mutual friend had mentioned to Dustin that Corey was messaging her to go out, and they started talking about Corey and what she had been up to the last year.  That night Dustin messaged Corey to meet him for a date. They immediately reconnected and started dating.

Once Dustin had the ring out(in the box) John broke the ice and said in his sweet voice "Marry us Mommy Corey" with Ella chiming in, Dustin was proposing and saying his part with the kids screaming "open it!!" Teresa + Joe | Church Landing | Lakes Region NH Wedding Videographer

Church Landing wedding
Teresa + Joe first met while working at Fitbit. Joe was an iOS developer and Teresa was the product manager for the commerce team. They didn't talk much (at all) at first, until the company holiday party. They ended up sitting next to each other because people on their 2 teams were friends. They talked the whole night and 3 months later, they went out with work friends to Papagayo and went for a walk around Boston after. Teresa asked Joe out the next week, and the rest is history.

As a couple, they love swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. They go on an annual camping trip to Pillsbury State Park in NH and in the winter they try to go skiing when they can. They have game nights with friends and love to host football parties throughout the fall and winter. When they're alone, they have sporadic dance parties, watch TV shows, and go for walks around their apartment complex.

When Joe proposed, it was exactly one year before their wedding date.  They went on a hike in the Fells, and stopped to talk at Wright's tower, where they went on their second date. When they got up to go back, Joe stopped because he "had a rock in his shoe". Teresa started to walk away, but he stopped her - he was down on one knee with a ring, and proposed! Teresa was shocked because she thought he was going to propose during their Disney vacation a week later.

Teresa + Joe were married on Sunday September 3rd at Church Landing in Meredith NH.  It was an extremely wet and windy day, but that did not dampen the love and joy these two had for each other.

Polly + Alex | A Backyard Wedding | Concord NH Wedding Videographer

Concord NH backyard wedding
Polly + Alex .... I absolutely adore them!  They are so full of joy and love and are hands down the sweetest couple I have ever met.

Polly + Alex first met on a night out in Boston.  They were each out with separate friends, and they just had a chance encounter at a Boston Bar called Bell in Hand.  As a couple, they both love sports such as soccer, tennis, biking, swimming, hiking, climbing.  They also enjoy some quiet time together of watching movies and reading.  When Alex proposed, they went for a hike and Alex proposed at the top of the mountain.

Polly + Alex were married on Saturday August 26th in the backyard of Alex's childhood home in Concord NH.  With a ceremony site nestled between clusters of birch trees, and the reception tent placed next to Alex's mom's amazing flower garden, they had the perfect day.  They both got ready in separate locations in the house and had a first look in the garden.  For the ceremony, they entered in via a horse buggy and got the party started by throwing out beaded necklaces on their entrance.  It was one of the best entrances I have seen to a ceremony!  Lindsey, their wedding planner did an amazing job with all the little details that it was like a fairytale come true for Polly + Alex.

Bishop Farm Lisbon NH wedding
Just yesterday, Missy + Travis celebrated their wedding up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  They were married by Missy's great uncle at St. Rose of Lima Church in Littleton and had their reception at the stunning Bishop Farm in Lisbon.

Missy + Travis first met when at a bar when Missy was doing a Promotion for St. Pattys day for a local beer distributor. They talked sports (as they both love sports!), softball imparticulary, and Travis invited Missy to be on his team for the summer.  The rest is history!

Being sporst fanatics, as a couple, they love all things sports.  They play broomball, softball, bowling, golf, hockey, and more!  They also love to ride their side-by-side on the trails.  They have the best times together and whether it be alone or with a group, thet can always find something entertaining to do!

When Travis propsed, they had been together for over 6 years. Travis decided one night to watch the Boston Red Sox outside and hooked up the TV out there.  He forgot to shut the window and Missy's two babies Blade and Blitz (indoor cats) escaped through the window. The following day only Blitz returned.  They had the whole town on the lookout, with hundreds of shares on Facebook and the local fire department also helping. Blade took a full day to come back home and Missy was an emotional mess. After Blade finally returned, Missy got home that evening to each cat laying next to Trav's side while he was on one knee!

Not only did we get to share in their amazing day to capture the moments of the day, but we produced this film on site and presented it during dinner at the reception.  It's always so fun to see people's reactions when they see things that happened earlier in the day.  A huge thank you to my amazing staff for helping make this happen.

It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy!  {Jaime, Kevin + Zach}

Kate + James | The Bedford Village Inn | NH Wedding Videography

Bedford Village Inn Wedding Video

Kate + James first met through a mutual friend at a bar in Newport, Rhode Island.  As a couple, they love to travel, explore Dallas (where they currently live), try new restaurants, cook new recipes and follow their Boston sports teams!

When James proposed, he had just passed his CIMA tests so Kate thought they were just grabbing dinner to celebrate. Turns out he wanted to get a drink before dinner and they were on our way to dinner and he suggested stopping at the W Hotel in Dallas, which has a nice pool deck for drinks that overlooks downtown Dallas. They got in the elevator and he pulled out a key and pressed the 11th floor button.  The pool is halfway up the building, so 11 made sense, but the fact he had a key was odd and Kate knew something was up.  They got off the elevator, walked down the hall and James opened the door to a hotel room. He led Kate to the balcony overlooking downtown Dallas where he proposed and she said yes!

Let's Tell Your Story!

Erica + Dane | A Jefferson Street Inn | Wisconsin Wedding Videography

Wausau Wisconsin wedding video
It makes me sad to be writing this blog post because it's the last one that I will be doing for this family.  I have been filming the siblings of the Hartke family for a few years now, and Erica was the last to get married.  I truly feel like a member of their family and it has been an absolute honor to be there to share in these moments with them.  But enough about me... on to Erica + Dane .....

Erica + Dane first met through a mutual friend in college. Erica's roommate was one of Dane's best friends in high school! The summer after junior year they were introduced and hit it off right from the start. Actually, before they even met face-to-face, Erica + Dane were "friends" on Snapchat and they would talk every day, sending pictures, for almost two months before actually meeting.

As a couple, they love to workout, get outside in the beautiful weather, play board games, watch movies or even just hang out. Whatever gives them quality time together :)

When Dane proposed, they had just had their baby, Allison, 5 weeks before. Dane had the idea to get professional baby pictures of Alli taken so we were at the photographer's when Dane went to go change Alli into her last outfit before a couple of family photos. She came back out wearing a onesie that said "will you marry my daddy?" And Dane got down on one knee and proposed with ring in hand and Alli in the other.

Erica + Dane were married on Saturday July 22nd at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Marathon WI and had their reception in historic downtown Wausau at The Jefferson Street Inn

4 Must Know Items About Wedding Photo + Video Pricing

DSCF9278-Edit-2

I have written about this topic before, but I think it’s worth visiting again. Every week we speak to dozens of couples that are looking to hire us for wedding photography and video. Each conversation begins the same. “Hi, we would like to see if you are available, and how much do you cost”. Now if I wasn’t in this industry, I would be asking the same things…but I want you to evolve your conversation…why? Because you are not a one size fits all couple and none of us in the industry have one size fits all pricing. When you ask about how much it costs…the answer you will hear is “it depends” (now we do give a realistic range of what most people spend, but still…it depends).

Now you may be thinking …what do you mean it depends?…all I want are photos and video of my wedding! Well to break it down further, it depends on:

  • Where your ceremony and reception are located
  • How many hours of coverage do you need
  • How many photographers or film makers do you need or want
  • What are you looking for in terms of a final product – are you looking for just the digital files or do you need an engagement session or album, etc.

To break it down further:

  • Ceremony and reception location factor in for travel – it does make a difference to travel an hour vs traveling 4 hours each way – we travel world-wide so that information is important
  • Hours of coverage – Couples will say to us, “we are looking for xx hours of photography coverage” and in 90+% of the time they need less after analyzing the day. It helps to have an experienced person help you realistically break down the type of coverage you need.
  • The number of photographers and film makers – You may or may not need 2 of each, its helpful to breakdown your day and discuss the reasons why you want x amount of people.

So now that I’ve armed you with a bit more info, here are a few more items to do before you reach out for photo or video.

  • How important is wedding photography + video to me as it relates to the day?
  • Do you love the work and style of the photographer/film maker?
  • Have you read the reviews on theknot.com or weddingwire.com
  • Have you established a budget…if not, please do so!

The bottom line is you never want to walk into a meeting or conversation unprepared. I sincerely hope this helps even a few people out. Feel free to share or email us at info@nhimages.com

All my best,

Peter

Cortney + Brad | Nashua Radisson | NH Wedding Videography

Lakeside Wedding

Cortney + Brad first met in September 2011 at Assumption College in Worcester MA, where they both lived in the same dorm.

As a couple, Cortney + Brad love to travel!  They studied abroad in London and loved traveling to Paris and Ireland. They are huge Disney fans and travel to Disney World a lot, as well as throughout the US. They also love to go to sporting events and Brad is slowly turning Cortney into a Baltimore Ravens fan!

When Brad proposed, it was in October 2015 at Walt Disney World.  They were eating dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and the waiter came over and said he would bring out a dessert menu. Instead of returning with a desert menu, he returned with a covered silver platter. Cortney looked at Brad in confusion. Then Brad stood up and walked over to Cortney. As he got down on one knee the waiter opened the silver platter, it was covered with roses and a glass slipper. Brad proposed! Everyone in Cinderella's Castle stood up in excitement watching the proposal. After Cortney said yes, they brought over champagne and desserts while they watched the fireworks.

Cortney + Brad's day was a true fairy tale for them.  They married lake side at Cortney's family home in Pelham, NH.  After the ceremony, guests stayed for cocktail hour while Cortney, Brad and the wedding party departed by Malibu boats.  Every met back up for the reception at the Nashua Radisson.  Their love for Disney was scattered throughout the wedding, complete with hidden Mickeys in the bouquet, cake and antique key favors.

Mustang Wedding photo

Lora + Ben both work in the sheet metal shop at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and this is how they first met.

Lora + Ben have been lucky enough to travel to Hawaii twice since we've been together, both times to the island of Oahu. The second time they were there, Ben was there on travel for work, so Lora met him there about a month into his trip. The first morning she was there he drove her out to the north shore, to a park called Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. They walked around for a bit and then he propsed!  Of course she said YES, surrounded by such beauty!

Lora + Ben were so much fun to work with.  They were married on Friday July 7th in downtown Portsmouth at the Portsmouth Harbor Events Center.  It started to rain during their first look down on Bow St., but we managed to squeeze it in outside and then did the majority of the formals inside.  Once the ceremony was over, the skies had cleared and so we took a ride in Lora's 66' Mustang through the streets of Portsmouth, (complete with tin cans) for quick photo shoot down by the water and Lora + Ben were smiles the whole time!

Once upon a time Brittany + Scott met in high school and through the years fell in love. That love brought us all together on June 30th for an amazing wedding at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. Currently our couple lives in California so seeing everyone is not an easy everyday happening.

Photography wise, we covered the important parts of the day from getting ready to the reception. Although there was no specific maid of honor or best man there was plenty of fun with a bridal party of 11 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen!

The ceremony was up at the summit of Loon Mountain. The views are absolutely amazing, and after a touching ceremony we had pictures of family, bridal party and our couple to get done. The challenge with all of this is there were severe thunderstorms all around us. If there was even a rumble of thunder, the gondola would shut down for 45 minutes…thus threatening the day. So we literally finished an hours worth of photos in 15 minutes…I’m still sweating! As soon as we made it down it started to rain and rain hard…phew…we made it!

Afterwards, they all went to dinner and then went back to Alberto's parents house for an engagement party.

Caila + Lucas | The Dockside Restaurant | York Maine Wedding Videography

Dockside York Maine Wedding Video

Caila + Lucas met their freshman year in college at Colby Sawyer. His good friend Brett was dating Caila's roommate. Lucas came into her dorm room with Brett and his other good friend Travis when Caila was sitting at her desk working on some homework. Lucas always tells Caila that he knew she was the one the second he walked into the room and saw her.

As a couple, they like to spend a lot of time outdoors kayaking, hiking and spend time at Caila's family lake house in Naples, Maine.

When Lucas decided to propose, it was Christmas Eve and they were celebrating the holiday with both of their families. Lucas pulled Caila aside and asked her to go ride around to look at all the Christmas lights in town. They drove to the Nubble Light house in York, Maine to look at the lights and he told her they were going there because she had never been there before. They looked at the lights for a little bit and then Lucas told her that he wanted to give her a  Christmas present. He handed her a large box and she found box after box inside until she got to the smallest box. Inside was a letter that talked about how much he loved her, why he loved her and the last line said "I can’t wait to be standing up on the alter with you."  With the reading of the last line, that's when Lucas got down on one knee and popped the question!!

Caila + Lucas were married at The Dockside Restaurant in York Maine on Saturday June 17th.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime, Zach + Iris}

Laura + Tyler | Colonial Hotel | MA Wedding Videography

Colonial Hotel wedding video

Laura + Tyler met in college through their roommates who were dating.  It never really went anywhere and 6 years later they reconnected on Facebook and Tyler cut his hair.  Then they finally went on their first date.

Separately, Ty loves to golf and Laura teaches both dance and fitness classes. Together, they love hiking, the beach, going to concerts, the Bruins, and anything that involves their dog, Neely (who was in the wedding of course!)

Whey Ty proposed, Laura had come home from getting coffee with a friend and there were rose petals on the floor from the kitchen into the living room. Their dog, Neely, was dressed in a tux with a sign asking if Tyler could officially be his dad and she said "of course!" and here we are!

Laura + Tyler were married at the Colonial Hotel on Friday, June 16th.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime + Kevin}

Kate + Mike | Bedford Village Inn | NH Wedding Videography

Bedford Village Inn Wedding

Kate + Mike first met in high school during their freshman year and started dating at the end of the year. One of Kate's best friends was also Mike's neighbor growing up.

In their free time, Mike likes golfing and watching sports. Kate likes exercising -indoors and outside- and reading.  They both like exploring new restaurants, wineries, etc. and spending time with friends and family.

When Mike proposed, Kate was running a marathon in California so they had planned a trip out there. The day after the marathon was Mike's birthday, so he planned a day exploring vineyards in Napa Valley with a couple of their friends. At the first vineyard, Sterling Vineyards, they rode an aerial tram up to the winery. Once at the top, they took a self-guided tour of the winery and enjoyed some tastings. The tour ended on the rooftop terrace which offered an amazing view of Napa Valley. This is where Mike proposed to Kate :) Mike had let the winery know his plans, so there was champagne waiting for them afterwards. They then celebrated with their friends and moved on to a few more vineyards in the area before spending the night in San Francisco.

Kate + Mike were married at the beautiful Bedford Village Inn on June 10th.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime + Zach}

Kelly + Ben | Oliverian School | Pike NH Wedding Videography

Oliverian School Pike NH Wedding Video

Kelly + Ben both work at the Oliverian School, an independent alternative boarding school for students grades 9-12, located in the mountains of Pike NH and this is where they chose to have their wedding on June 10th.

Kelly + Ben have a circle of mutual friends from growing up in neighboring towns (Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa, NY). One weekend in August 2011, a mutual friend of theirs (Pat), asked Ben if he wanted to go see OAR with him and "a couple tall blonde girls". Ben was initially hesitant because he does not prefer that music, but the idea of "blonde girls" swayed him to go. They all hung out together at Pat's house before the concert, which was when Kelly + Ben first met. The concert was a blast and the next day, Kelly got a text from Pat asking to meet out for a drink, and she knew exactly who was behind the idea. They met out with friends a couple more times before Kelly realized she was way more excited to get texts from Ben than her best friend at the time. Soon after that Kelly + Ben started officially dating.

When Ben proposed, they had just gotten back from a long bike ride on a weirdly warm day in February. After climbing up the hill to their house, Kelly was so exhausted that she collapsed on the ground. When Ben told her he had a surprise in the house, she initially thought it was a good beer. Instead, he came out with blood orange mimosas (her fave) and as we stood sipping them, enjoying the beautiful view from their backyard (where the ceremony was held), Ben knelt down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

They both love to be outside and enjoy biking together best. They incorporate biking into any vacation they go on since that is how they like to see new places and spend our time together. Typically, their fun times together consist of biking in beautiful scenery, drinking good beer (and wine), and pigging out on pizza.

They had the most beautiful day for their wedding ceremony and tented reception, complete with rustic details and YES dinner was catered by Woodbelly Pizza, a mobile wood-fired pizza company!!

It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime, David + Kevin}

Rachel + Trevor | Birchwood Vineyard | Wedding Photography

Birchwood Vineyard Derry NH Wedding Peter Clayman Photography

Rachel and Trevor were married on June 4th, with a ceremony and reception at Birchwood Vineyard, in Derry, NH.

Rachel is the sales and event manager at the Mountain View Grand Resort in Whitefield, New Hampshire, while Trevor’s focus is more on cars and the need for speed. It’s always a pleasure to be asked to photograph events where a professional event manager like Rachel is involved. We know that she works with so many photographers and vendors, so choosing us out of all the other options is truly an honor.

The weather only barely held out for us at the beginning of the big day. We were lucky enough that we were able to capture the first look and portraits outside before the rain started—it would have been a shame if we hadn’t been able to show off the scenic beauty of Birchwood Vineyards! If they hadn’t opted for the first look, we wouldn’t have any outdoor pictures, and so those are among our favorites simply because we were so lucky to get them.

It wasn’t just the weather and the beautiful background that made this first look amazing, though. Trevor’s reaction to seeing Rachel for the first time was genuinely moving, the kind of response that photographers dream of when we set up first looks.

After that, we had to hold the ceremony indoors, because it had started to rain. But even with the weather forcing us inside, we had the most beautiful subjects. We were glad to witness their harmonious union.

Thank you, Rachel & Trevor, for letting us be part of your big day. We wish you both all the best in the rest of your lives together. Thanks also to the entire staff at Birchwood for doing a terrific job—even with the weather being uncooperative!

Mary Kate + Spenser | Red Barn at Outlook Farm | Maine Wedding Videography

Red Barn at Outlook Farm Maine Wedding Video

Spenser + Mary Kate got married on June 10th at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm.

They met in the fall of 2010 at Saint Joseph's College of Maine through mutual friends and officially began dating on January 25th 2011.  Soon after they started dating, they began a long distance relationship when Spenser joined the Army in 2013, and was away at training and then South Korea for year.  When Spenser was done in Korea, he was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. and moved there from Korea in March 2015.  Mary Kate was able to visit him that April.

April 25th 2015, they went to a place called Crystal Creek Reservoir at Pikes Peak. They were sitting there taking in the view and talking about what the future has in store for them and that's when Spenser got down on one knee to propose...and of course Mary Kate said yes! They continued the long distance relationship from Colorado to MA until January 24th 2017 when Spenser was finally finished.

After years of long distance they honestly just love being together....grocery shopping, the gym, making dinner. They love spending time in Portland, traveling and experiencing new things as well as spending time with friends and family!

It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime}

Kori + Dan were married on June 3rd at Steele Hill Resort in Sanbornton, New Hampshire.  They had the perfect day with the most majestic views.

Kori + Dan met while they were students at Keene State College.  They lived in a duplex, Kori upstairs and Dan downstairs. One day Kori went downstairs and gave Dan a beer and have been together every day since.  They love to be outside hiking or spending time at the lake.

When Dan proposed, Dan asked Kori to go on a sunrise hike. It was four o'clock in the morning and they went for a hike up Rattlesnake Mountain. Kori was not very excited about this as it was very dark. When at the top, Kori was taking pictures and turned around to Dan on one knee. Kori said "Are you serious?" She eventually said yes!

Kate + Mike | Bedford Village Inn | NH Wedding Photography

Bedford Village Inn Bedford NH Wedding NH Images Video

Kate and Mike were married on June 10th, with a ceremony and reception at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH.

It’s always nice to see old clients and their families again, and that was the case with this wedding. Ricky, whose cousin was getting married, was an old NH Images wedding client, and it was amazing to get to see him again as he did a reading for his cousin.  It’s a special honor to see those old clients still enjoying their happily ever after long after the big day that we were able to document for them. We were so happy to be invited to another event with this wonderful family.

Mike, who works at Fidelity Investments, and Kate, who works for Meditech doing company health records, were high school sweethearts. They’ve seen each other through the ups and downs of growing up and becoming adults together, and that strength and support is so obvious to see just watching the two of them.

Before the ceremony, we set up a first look with Kate and her bridesmaids as well as one with her dad. The girls were thrilled to see their friend in her stunning wedding look, but the look on her father’s face truly took the cake.

Then, during the ceremony, the officiant, John, read letters written by each set of parents about their child as part of the ceremony. Kate and Mike hadn’t known about it beforehand, and the surprise and pure emotion on their faces was a joy to document.

Although we love every single one of the images from this wedding, the ones from our nighttime shoots are particularly breathtaking. Those images as well as the one shot by the fire lounge are some of the pictures we’re proudest of.

Thank you, Kate & Mike, for allowing us to be part of your special day. Thanks also to McKenzie from the Bedford Village Inn for pulling off a spectacular wedding and being a real help to us!

Bedford Village Inn Wedding Video

Rebecca + Watson were married on Saturday June 3rd, with both their ceremony and reception at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford NH.

They met in college, she was 18, he was 21. They quickly became close friends and within weeks began spending every day together. Watson took Rebecca out on amazing hikes in the mountains and she took him on adventures in the city. They complimented each other perfectly. After 3 years of dating they moved together to sunny California. They adopted a puppy and spent their days exploring this new exciting land…

Rebecca + Watson lived happily together for 3 years when they took a vacation to the Grand Cayman Islands. On a beautiful sunny day they took a walk down the beach, watching the waves crash and smelling the salty air. They stopped for a photo in front of a beautiful landscape and it was there that Watson told Rebecca how much he loved her and how he couldn't imagine his life without her. Then in front of her family and a few friends he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

After an abundance of joyous tears, in hushed tones, she said Yes!

When Melissa + Derek first met, they had an instant connection.  Derek is a NH state trooper with a distinguished military career and Melissa works as a paralegal.  They eloped one year ago to the date of their actual wedding and Derek proposed down the street from his childhood home the night before.

They love to hang out with their dog Wesson, watch movies, play video games and spend time with family and friends.

They had a beautiful day, and although a quick rain shower came through after the ceremony, they got rewarded with a spectacular rainbow.

Pats Peak, Henniker , NH, Wedding Photographer, Peter Clayman, NH Images photography

Melissa and Derek were married on June 2nd, with a ceremony and reception at Pat’s Peak, in Henniker, New Hampshire.

They met online, and once they got together in person, that was it—they were in love. The two of them are always busy—Derek as a state trooper for New Hampshire with a distinguished military career and Melissa as a paralegal—but the thing that shines through with both of them is their love not only for each other but for other people. Both of them have dedicated their lives to service, and it was even more amazing to see that side of them come out for the people they are closest to.

Bridgett from Pat’s Peak set up a beautiful wedding for these two—perfectly true to Melissa’s idea of what she wanted her dream wedding to be like. There’s something supremely satisfying about seeing a bride so pleased with the day, and Melissa was incredibly gracious and grateful.

Of course, the only drawback was the crazy weather that we got hit with. Mother Nature put on a ridiculous show for us—yet we persevered! But in the middle of all that, the sun came out, and it lit up the world with the most amazing rainbow.

Melissa & Derek, thank you for letting us be part of your wedding day! You were wonderful to brave the weather, and we wish you both nothing but the best.

Angie and Josh | Mount Sunapee Wedding

Mount Sunapee Wedding, NH Images Photography And Video

Angie and Josh were married on May 28th, with a ceremony at the summit of Mount Sunapee, in Newbury, NH, with a reception on the mountain.

Josh and Angie met in high school, so they have actually known each other for 18 years! They had gone their separate ways after school, but fate pulled them back together a few years ago. So, you could say that this big day has been a long time coming, and everyone was obviously so excited to see the two of them tie the knot.

On the day of the wedding, we took a gondola up to the summit, with Bruce Preston acting as second shooter. Gondola rides are always amazing, and this was no different—and the perfect way to start out the wedding. The weather was amazing and the couple looked so excited for the day to come.

Angie and Josh opted to do a first look ahead of the ceremony, which is always fun, but this time, there was a little something different. Josh had decided to shave off his beard and mustache for the big day, and he was nearly unrecognizable!

During the ceremony itself, Angie’s sister played an original song that she had written herself. That kind of personal, emotional touch truly brought weight to the ceremony and showed how much Angie is loved by her family.

We spent much of the rest of the day with Angie and Josh through the reception admiring the scenery. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue—the views were breathtaking, and the mountain scenery is a photographer’s dream. When spring arrives on the mountain it is simply spectacular.

 We would also like to thank Lynda and Pipere from Mount Sunapee. They were both great to work with, and it really does make all the difference when the people running the venue can make sure the whole day proceeds as smoothly as possible.

Angie and Josh, thank you for including us in your big day! We wish you both nothing but the best in your lives together.

Emily + Matt | Mad River Barn | VT Wedding Videography

Mad River Barn VT flower field

Emily + Matt were married this past Saturday with a ceremony and reception Mad River Barn in Waitsfield, VT.  It was a beautiful day for their ceremony in the field and reception in the newly built open air barn.

Emily + Matt met online five years ago, both on their first online date.  They met for their first date at a local restaurant to enjoy two of their favorite things, burgers and beers.  While they had never met before, they quickly learned that they had much in common.  Both had a deep love for Vermont, with Emily vacationing regularly at her family’s lakeside home in Wells just a short drive away from Chester where Matt was raised.  Both now appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, though Emily was known to be a difficult camper in her younger years.  Like Emily, Matt’s mother is a special education teacher, which led to Matt discussing his mother far more than someone should ever do on a first date.  But to Matt, Emily’s continuous laughter was a sure sign that the date was going extremely well.  He would later learn that Emily just laughs at everything.  To Emily, the date was a resounding success when Matt ordered peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert, a sure sign he was a keeper.  Not wanting the date to end, Matt suggested they drive to the beach down the street from his apartment to watch the sunset. Walking together on the beach, their conversation flowed naturally and both began to feel the connection grow.  Having thoroughly enjoyed their time together, they reluctantly ended their night with a kiss and plans for a second date in a couple days.  The very next day, Matt received a call from Emily letting him know she was on her way and would arrive shortly.  Realizing the date mix up, but not wanting to embarrass her, Matt excitedly hung up the phone and began hastily preparing for their second date… two days before it was supposed to happen.  And so the sequential dates continued, for four straight days, the chemistry abundantly clear to them both.

After four years and just as Emily had begun to question if their relationship was going to take the next step, Matt convinced her to hike the tallest mountain in Vermont… at night. On May 20th the full moon rose on a completely cloudless night, and they began their hike to the top of Mt. Mansfield. After a gruelling hike in which Matt carried not one, not two, but three separate cameras and tripods to “capture the sunrise”, they reached the summit as the faintest hint of light peeked over the horizon. Nervously pulling the ring from his pocket, Matt asked Emily to join him at the summit where he dropped to one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Their wedding day was exactly one year from the date of the proposal!

Emily + Matt are very outdoor oriented people.  Wether it's rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, scuba diving or camping, they love to get out into nature.  They are also very adventurous travelers from Belize, Utah to their honeymoon in Iceland, they love action packed experiences!

With their love of Vermont, it was fitting that Emily + Matt picked a quaint venue like Mad River Barn for their wedding.  They day was filled with lots of love and laughter and personal little details.  They had a first look down the street at a covered bride, and walked through the woods to a small river and into a field of flowers for photos.  At the reception, they had a cloud background for their photo booth, a smores station around the firepit and Matt built a swing!  They even served their guests ice cream!

It was an absolute honor to share in the day with them, capturing it all on video.  We are excited to share their Sneak Peek Wedding Film with you.  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Lindsay and Mark | Manchester Country Club Wedding

Manchester Country Club Wedding, NH Images Photography

Lindsay and Mark were married on May 20th, with a ceremony and reception at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford NH.

These two met at the Beer Garden in Southie (South Boston), and the two of them simply fell deeper in love with each passing day from there. They have been entirely supportive of each other, as Lindsay is a medical assistant and Mark is a gas tech at National Grid, and clearly, the two of them love to surprise each other, since Mark proposed to Lindsay and surprised her during his own surprise birthday party that she’d thrown for him!

We started off the day of the wedding photographing the bride and her ladies “getting ready” before we staged a first look between Lindsay and her father. The whole day was all the more special because Lindsay’s mom had passed away a while ago. Although it was a celebration, Lindsay and her family made sure to honor her memory at every chance.

Mark during that time was getting ready and hanging out with his best man and brother, Brian—who was not only the best man but the officiant for the ceremony. There was a closeness between those two that made the whole ceremony, as well as the rest of the day, even more special.

The Manchester Country Club itself was amazing for both the ceremony and the reception. The weather was wonderful and the light poured in through the huge windows in the ballroom. As the sun was starting to set, we snuck Lindsay and Mark out onto the green to take a few extra pictures. Kelsey and Sarah took such good care of both the bride and groom and their guests and pulled off a spectacular party!

Mark & Lindsay, thank you so much for including us in your special day. We wish you both all the best!

Amanda + Jeremiah | LaBelle Winery | NH Wedding Videography

 LaBelle Winery NH Wedding Videography

Amanda + Jeremiah were married this past Saturday with a ceremony and reception at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, NH.  It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for their ceremony on the patio and formal photo session in the vineyard and field.

When Amanda + Jeremiah first met they were in pharmacy school.  Jeremiah was in his 3rd year and Amanda was in her 2nd.  Amanda was filling her water bottle after a Rho Chi potluck in March 2013 when Jeremiah decided to ask her out even though he had never met her before. After blindsiding her, she said yes, agreeing to a date with a handshake, and then promptly ran away. Although she was originally known as the mysterious "A-pee-too," things started going well enough to introduce her as Amanda to the family. They continued to date, graduate, enjoy their time in Freeport, Maine where they were living.

When Jeremiah proposed, it was after Amanda got back from a Euro trip with her sister and friends.  He proposed at Wolfsneck State Park in Freeport.  He filmed it on his camera and had a small bottle of champagne tucked away in his camera bag.

Together, they love long drives around Maine and usually stop at one of their favorite bagel places for breakfast before heading out.  In the summer, they enjoy golfing and beach days or just sitting on the farmers porch of their home.

It was an absolute honor to share in the day with them, capturing it all on video.  We are excited to share their Sneak Peek Wedding Film with you.  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Samantha Captain, the lead shooter, started out the day getting ready with Sarah and her ladies, while Bruce Preston, the second shooter, was with the guys. We also shot the video for this wedding, so we were with them from start to finish—a long day, but so amazing and worth it for the love we were able to capture.

There was something magical about the venue and the way it seemed to fit these two so perfectly—both for the ceremony itself and the reception. Some of our favorite shots were in the gazebo, with the bride and groom reflected perfectly off the water and later a night shot where the two of them seemed to blend flawlessly with their surroundings. We are always lucky to have beautiful venues as well as beautiful couples, and we’re even luckier when the two coincide.

Jeff & Sarah, thank you for having us be part of your wedding. We wish you both the very best in your lives together.

The Story of Hazel + Theo {A Jaworowski Family Film}

Hazel_Theo.png

You grow up, you find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, you get a dog, you buy a house, you get pregnant and you become a family.  Seems easy right?

Chances are, someone you know is struggling with infertility and you don't know it. More than seven million people of childbearing age in the United States experience infertility.

Infertility is a topic that isn't talked about much and yet it is one of the most painful struggles a couple can go through. The pain is similar to the grief over losing a loved one, but it is unique because it is a recurring grief.  Those that can not conceieve grieve the loss of the baby that they may never know.  With each new month there is hope, and then when the bad news comes again, that hope transforms to heartbreak, anger, despair and loss.

All Kaye + Konrad wanted was to be parents and for 2 years they struggled with infertility.  They went through a rollercoaster of emotions while watching everyone around them start families and couldn't help but wonder why not them.  And then one day a miracle happened.

This is their story.

Cupid's Undie Run Video: Taking your pants off for charity

a Cupid's Undie Run Fenway

Normally, running through Fenway Park in your underwear would get you in trouble with park security. But on February 18th, hundreds of people jogged through Fenway in their skivvies as part of Cupid’s Undie Run charity event.

There are children out there suffering from a debilitating genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis (NF). NF causes tumors to grow all over the nervous system and can cause blindness, deafness, learning disabilities and severe chronic pain.  The Cupid's Undie Run was part of a nationwide campaign by Cupid Charities with the hopes of raising millions for the Children’s Tumor Foundation and neurofibromatosis research.

We were there to capture the event and put together this promo video for them.  Enjoy!

Brianna and Ward l Mountain View Grand Resort Wedding

Mountain View Grand Resort Wedding Peter Clayman Photography

Brianna and Ward were married on May 6th, with a ceremony and reception at the Mountain View Grand Resort.

These two were high school sweethearts when they were younger and have been together for ten years now, seeing each other through school and onto more adventures as Brianna is now a teacher and Ward helps run his family business.

We started out the day at the salon and then did getting ready shots. Brianna had given all her bridesmaids monogrammed sweatshirts. On the back, she’d had the year that each girl met Brianna put on the shirts as well.

From there, we did the first look with Brianna’s father, which was incredibly sweet, before we went on to the front gazebo of the Mountain View Grand Resort for the wedding and then the reception in the Crystal Ballroom.

For this particular wedding, the weather was absolutely crazy! We experienced everything from rain to sun to massive wind—but when the sun finally did break through, everything looked amazing. Even with all that Mother Nature threw at us, the venue was always beautiful and provided some gorgeous picture opportunities with the landscape available to us.

Ward & Brianna, thank you for letting us be part of your wedding. We wish you both all the best! We’d also like to thank Katie from the Mountain View Grand, who was fantastic in making sure everything ran smoothly.

Mariah and Ethan l Wedding at Sky Meadow Country Club

Sky-Meadow-Country-Club-Wedding-NH-Images-Photography-And-Video-_0001.jpgMariah and Ethan were married on April 29th, with a ceremony and reception at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH.

Mariah and Ethan met in high school and have been sweethearts for some time, so everyone was excited to see the two of them tying the knot at last!

From the very start, as we captured Mariah and Ethan getting ready, it was clear that family was important to both of them and played a huge role in the day. Ethan’s best man was his brother, Sam, and Mariah’s maid of honor was her sister, Ashley. The girls in particular were fun to photograph as they took a group picture with all of them in a monogrammed, button-down shirt.

Once we got to the ceremony, our favorite part of the whole day was watching Ethan’s reaction to Mariah walking down the aisle. Everyone there could feel his emotion when he saw her!

From there, it was off to the reception, where these two had a pretty tricked out candy bar. The sky and clouds were also amazing to photograph under, and we loved being able to capture the beauty of both the setting and the people there.

Thank you, Mariah & Ethan, or choosing us for your wedding photography! Thanks also to Josh, who was just recently promoted to wedding coordinator. We have worked with him for years and are proud of not only his accomplishments but the amazing job he did for this wedding.

A Church Landing Wedding Video: Sarah + Jeff

 Church Landing NH Wedding Video

Sarah + Jeff had a New Hampshire Lakes Region wedding on Saturday, April 22nd.  Their ceremony was held at St. Charles in Meredith and their reception at Church Landing.  It was a cold spring day but everyone was in good spirits including Sarah + Jeff!

Sarah + Jeff first met in a college class at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2011. He was on the Soccer team and Sarah was in Navy ROTC, so their paths had never crossed before Sophomore year. They danced together at a party at the end of the semester, and have been inseparable ever since!

Jeff and Sarah love to explore new restaurants, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time together at home after long weeks.

Sarah grew up vacationing in the Lakes Region and had introduced Jeff to the Inns at Mill Falls.  They were here celebrating their anniversary when Jeff proposed.  A huge snowstorm had moved in overnight, and it seemed like they would be snowed in for the day. They had breakfast at the Waterfall Cafe, and planned on visiting some of the shops at the Mill. After finishing breakfast, they decided to go to one of Sarah's favorite shops first, however Jeff somehow convinced Sarah that they should go outside to get to the shop, instead of just walking through the hotel. It was incredibly quiet, and they were the only ones walking around the building. As they crossed over the footbridge in front of the water, Jeff stopped Sarah, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. The snow was falling, no one was around, and of course Sarah began to cry immediately.

So Church Landing and the Inns at Mill Falls holds a special place in both of their hearts and it's no surprise as to why those chose to have their wedding celebration here as well.

It was an absolute honor to share in the day with them, capturing it all on video.  We are excited to share their Sneak Peek Wedding Film with you.  Enjoy!  {Jaime + Matt}

Jenny + Greg | Portsmouth Harbor Events Center Wedding Video Teaser

 Portsmouth Harbor Events wedding video

Jenny + Greg were married on Saturday, April 22nd in downtown Portsmouth.  They had a ceremony at North Church and their reception at the Portsmouth Harbor Event Center.  It was a cold, windy raw spring day but everyone made the best of it.

Jenny and Greg met through a mutual friend in college.  Greg's high school friend is Jenny's college best friend.  Jenny went to visit their friend for New Year's Eve in Greg's hometown and they first met at the party.

They love to visit and spend time with family and friends around New England and traveling when they can.  They also enjoy going to the beach and being outside in the summer whether it's on the water or just sitting on the deck.

When Greg proposed, they were celebrating their 3 year anniversary in Portsmouth.  They went for a walk before their dinner reservations and ended up at Prescott Park.  It was dim, and quiet because it was December so it was colder.  The first time they visited Portsmouth they saw a wedding happening at Prescott Park and it was there, that night that Greg asked Jenny to be his forever.

Portsmouth obviously holds a special place in their hearts and it's no surprise that they picked this location for their wedding day.

It was an absolute honor to share in the day with them.  This is just a little teaser film for them to enjoy while they wait for their Feature Film.  Enjoy!  {Jaime}

Currier Museum of Art {A Heart of the Arts Gala Film}

 Currier Museum of Art

On Saturday, April 22 nd, the Currier Museum of Art held its annual gala auction, the Heart of the Arts, to support the Museum’s outreach and art education initiatives.

The Currier is a great community museum that offers more than $50,000 in scholarships and public programming to New Hampshire residents. To deliver this programming, the Currier has partnered with some of the area’s finest not-for-profits: Easter Seals, CHaD, Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, Head Start, the PLUS Company, Child Health Services and New Hampshire National Guard, to name a few.

These programs are able to be successful through the generous donations from our community.  In a fundraising effort to show how donations are put to use, we worked with them to create this short film that was presented at the Gala.

Portsmouth-Harbor-Event-Center-Wedding-NH-Images_0001.jpg

Jenny and Greg were married on Saturday, April 22 with a ceremony at North Church in Portsmouth, NH followed by a reception at the Portsmouth Harbor Event Center. Jenny and Greg met through mutual friends in college and it was so easy to see how very much in love these two are. Jenny is a dance teacher and Greg is an investment manager and after spending the day with them, it’s clear they’re perfect for each other.

Jenny and Greg decided to take advantage of both our photography and our video services. We were so thrilled that they trusted us with capturing their day. The weather was grey, cold and raw, but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits at all. Jenny and Greg chose to do a first look and it was so awesome because they empowered us to get creative and we were able to capture some beautiful candid moments. The brick and stone walkways at the Portsmouth Harbor gave beautiful light and texture to the images. We had the rest of the wedding party join in and the Memorial Bridge made for a unique and interesting backdrop for their portraits.

We all made our way to the beautiful North Church for the ceremony and were able to steal Greg and Jenny away for a few more portraits. There is a stunning stairway at the church and we were able to use some creative lighting techniques to grab some very intimate and special shots of the happy couple. The way their smiles shine up from the shadows wrapping around them in the stairs was really special.

After the ceremony, everyone adjourned to the Portsmouth Harbor Event Center for a spectacular party. Thanks to Meagan and Lauren from the Event Center for doing such a great job! And most importantly, thank you so much to Jenny and Greg. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.

Lindsay and Barak | Wedding at Atkinson Country Club

Atkinson-Country-Club-Wedding-NH-Images_0001.jpg

Lindsay and Barak were married on April 7 with their ceremony and reception at the Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson, NH. Sometimes, the love a couple has for one another is truly remarkable. That’s the case with Lindsay and Barak. Their love is intense, in the best way possible. Love like this makes our job easy.

Lindsay and Barak met almost four years ago to the day as single parents at a birthday party, but you would think they had known each other forever. The love between them seemed to block out the rest of the world!

We started the day with Lindsay and the ladies getting ready. The ceremony was at the Atkinson Country Club, in one of their gorgeous ballrooms. The weather had been raining intermittently throughout the day, but the light poured in through the windows and brightened the whole room. But nothing could outshine Lindsay as she walked down the aisle with her little girl, and Barak’s reaction was so touching.

We were lucky enough to capture this day for Barak and Lindsay in both film and photography packages and we’re so happy to have been able to be a part of their day. Being there when a couple is united in marriage is special, but witnessing two families unite as one is amazing. We were so touched by the love that we witnessed in this wedding, not only from the bride and groom but also from their daughters. The happily ever after seemed to extend to everyone in this family. Everyone smiled so much and the joy throughout the day was truly infectious.

We’d like to thank Kristin and the wonderful team from the Atkinson Country Club for such a wonderful event. But especially we would like to thank Lindsay, Barak, Asia, and Alyssa. We’re so happy for all of you and hope that the happiness you shared today extends for years and years to come. Thank you so much for trusting us to document your celebration.

An Atkinson Country Club NH Wedding Video: Lindsay + Barak

 Atkinson_Country_Club_Wedding_Lindsay_Barak.png

Lindsay + Barak have a love that is rare to find.  Their love is so deep that when they look into each others eyes, there is no one else in the room.

They met at a birthday party 4 years and 1 day before their wedding day.  They immediately connected during a conversation while Lindsay was pushing her daughter on the swingset and they knew that night that something special was beginning.  Their first date happened a week later and they have been inseparable since.

Barak proposed on Valentine's Day at his mother's house.  He shoveled a path out to the swingset and had it strung with red and white roses.  He gave Lindsay a beautiful heart necklace which he put on her and when she turned around, she found him down on one knee.

They each have a daughter from previous relationships, so they love to be a family together talking, laughing and watching TV.  They love to go out dancing, eating at favorite restaurants and camping every summer and taking day hikes and sightseeing in the fall.

They had their ceremony and reception at The Atkinson Country Club with beautiful spring details.  It was such an honor to share in this moment with them!

Enjoy their Sneak Peek Wedding Film!  {Jaime}

Theresa and Kevin | Portsmouth Harbor Event Center Wedding

Portsmouth-Harbor-Event-Center-Wedding-NH-Images-Photography_0001.jpg

Theresa and Kevin were married on April 1 with a beautiful ceremony at St. Elizabeth Church in Seabrook, NH followed by a reception at the Portsmouth Harbor Event Center in Portsmouth, NH.

Theresa and Kevin were high school sweethearts. A long-lasting love like this makes out job easy, since their love is so visible in the way they look at each other and in the way they connect. Their wedding day had the weather that you hope you won’t have - cold, wet, grey, slushy snow and freezing rain. It was icy, damp, and dreary- but this couple was not going to let it dampen their spirits or ruin their day!

We started at St. Elizabeth’s where they had a beautiful full mass. The weather brought us inside for the portraits and the family pictures, but the airy, high ceilings and the stunning stained glass windows gave us a beautiful backdrop. The light that filtered through the windows burst into these amazing colors, making the church look simply magical. After the ceremony, we went over to the Portsmouth Harbor Event Center where, even though it was cold, Theresa and Kevin toughed it out and we got some beautiful captures of this happy couple. Their love lit up their smiles.

Now, this was a group that wanted to party! Later in the night, the dance floor was the place to be. The family is from New Jersey and many other New Jerseyites were in attendance. There was a ton of love for their home state and of course, plenty of Bruce Springsteen was played! The food was also great. They had filet with lobster tail and later, a soft pretzel bar with dips and toppings for a late night snack. That was a fun treat for the guests who were taking a break from the dance floor!

Special thanks to Meagan Cowan and Lauren Lossani, the coordinators at the Harbor Event Center, for doing an outstanding job. Theresa and Kevin, thank you for having us capture your special day. You embraced the weather and didn’t let it dilute the fun you had. We wish you many more years of smiling through the rain! Congratulations!
