On Saturday September 25th, I had the amazing pleasure of sharing the day with Julie & Matt as they began their lives together as a married couple. One of the things I love most about being a wedding filmmaker is that I get to experience the raw love and emotion of couples on one of the best days of their lives and it makes me reminisce back to my wedding day every time. So, to be a part of such a beautiful day on what was also my 5 year wedding anniversary was extra special. =) Julie & Matt got married at Church Landing in Meredith and it was the perfect fall day. They did a "First Look" which is becoming more and more popular with brides and I really enjoy as well!
The fine details of the day were absolutely stunning from the awesome bright blue and orange colors that were in the flowers and bridesmaid gowns right down to Julie's blue shoes. The flower arrangements were gorgeous and Julie's dress was simply genius. Her dress consisted of 2 parts - a long and a short.
For the ceremony and formal pictures, Julie had a full length gown with a lace embroidered bodice and simple white shoes. But for the reception, all Julie had to do, was remove her sash and take off her skirt and she was in a short fully lace embroidered dress perfect for dancing the night away. She also changed her shoes to some dazzling blue high heels. Two wedding dresses in one, with the easiest change!
I had so much fun spending the day with Julie & Matt and their family. And I was so excited to see First Class playing during the reception. Here's their highlight film. I hope you love it!
All my best, Jaime.
