Nicole & David ~ Castle In The Clouds ~ Wedding Photography

Posted by Peter Clayman on Wed, Sep 24, 2014 @ 05:01 PM

Nicole & David were married at one of the most scenic places in New England, Castle In The Clouds, Moultonboro, NH.

This wedding was the second that we have done for the brides family as last year Nicole's sister Alicia was married and we photographed the big day :)  This wedding had a little of everything that included nice details (gingerbread cookies from the The Yum Yum Shop) to a horse and carriage to a first dance taking place on the patio overlooking a scenic vista.

We started to photograph bridal preparations at the Castle's intimate bridal suite.  We photographed many of the details that inluded the dress.  We later caught up with David getting ready to walk with his two sons up a short path that lead to the ceremony area.

The ceremony was sweet that included custom vows that Nicole and David read to each other.

As with tradition at Castle In The Clouds there is a group global picture taken from the balcony at the end of the ceremony.

On our way to the reception Nicole and David took the horse and carriage:

The reception kicked off with the first dance on the patio which we have never done before at The Castle.

Before everyone made their way into reception we were able to get some images of how the tables were set up with the flowers...all very beautiful:

After everyone settled in for a great meal catered by Hart's Turkey Farm there were speeches and toasts and dancing throughout the night. Rodyan and crew did a great job keeping things organized and we wish Nicole and David all the love and happiness that can have!

Ashley + Ryan | Church Landing, Meredith | New Hampshire Wedding Video

Posted by Jaime Wood on Tue, Sep 02, 2014 @ 01:04 PM

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to take the time to write your own vows.  They can be as long, or as short as you'd like.  They can be funny, emotional and loving.  They are unique and personal and make your wedding ceremony completely yours.  It certainly helps your wedding video too.  ;-)

Ashley + Ryan got married at the always lovely Church Landing in Meredith, NH.  Just a few details: Ashley arrived by boat (dont' you all want to do that now?!??), they wrote their own vows and had a fantastic choreographed first dance.  Every little detail was perfection and I can't thank Ashley + Ryan enough for allowing me to capture their day.  We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!  Here's their Sneak Peek.

Winter Wedding Highlight Film at Church Landing, Meredith NH

Posted by Jaime Wood on Thu, Feb 16, 2012 @ 09:28 AM

We don't get many winter weddings, but I love it when we do.  Not only does it keep us on our toes creatively, but it's nice to have a change of season to work with for shots.   This past Saturday, we were up at Church Landing during Meredith's Great Rotary Fishing Derby.  And the best catch of the day, was Karen & Travis!

Karen & Travis are big outdoor people, with a love of fishing (both water and ice), snowmobiling and more so it was very appropriate that they got married not only in the winter, but on the day of the derby.  It was questionable to whether or not the derby was going to happen on Meredith Bay with the warm winter we've had.  There was dangerous thin ice all over the lake.  But we were very luck that we were able to venture out onto the ice for some fun photo and video opportunities!

I absolutely loved all the cool details that Karen & Travis thought of for their wedding day.  Karen is a graphic designer, so it all comes naturally to her.  The guest book they had was a picture from their engagement session that was turned into a puzzle and they had each guest sign the back of a puzzle piece.  How cool is that?!?!  There was a rustic birch tree theme throughout from the place card holders, to the candles spread around the venue, and of course their cake.  The flowers were awesome shades of purple and pink, which brought a nice pop of color to a cold winter day and they chose to have purple uplighting in the recepiton.  I have to say, uplighting is an absolute MUST!  It totally changes the feel and look of the venue and adds such a great feel to the shots we take in both photography and video.  I highly recommend it!

I hope you enjoy Karen & Travis' highlight film.  I sure had a blast working with them and creating this for them.  Thank you Karen & Travis for letting me share in your amazing day!

All my best, Jaime

06.04.11 Kara & Peter's Church Landing Wedding Day Highlights

Posted by Jaime Wood on Tue, Jun 21, 2011 @ 08:25 AM

Church Landing Wedding VideoHi everyone, I hope this blog finds you well!  I wanted to take a moment to share another highlight film with you from a recent wedding we did at Church Landing in Meredith, NH.  We frequent Church Landing a lot and we never get tired of it!  It's such a great place for a wedding!

On June 4th I had the honor of capturing Kara & Peter's day.  I was hired by Kara's sister as a surprise gift so I never got to actually meet Kara and Peter before the big day.  I was welcomed with open arms from the entire family, and it was just an awesome day all around.  The weather was amazing, gorgeous details and we got to party with First Class Band during the reception, which is always a treat!  My favorite moment from the entire day was when Kara's dad saw her for the first time in her dress.  This is a prime example of why video is so important.  Moments like that just can't be captured with photography.

So, here's their highlight film, set to their first dance song - a classic - Thank You from Led Zeppelin.  Enjoy!  All my best, Jaime
