Kerriann & Nick were married at one of the prettiest country clubs around The Black Swan Country Club, Georgetown, MA. Although the venue was pretty inside and out the weather was...not so much. So what these pictures can show you is that even when the weather gives you lemons...there is lemonade to be had.
We started out photographing bridal preparations that included details from the dress, shoes and jewlery. We were also able to get images of hair and make up done which I think is so important when it comes to the aspect of story telling through pictures.
Before everyone left for the venue Kerriann, her parents and bridal party all had a moment while her dad saw the beautiful bride in her dress for the first time.
Kerriann and her parents took a Rolls Royce from Black Tie Limo Services and had one of the best drivers I have ever known Mark...he is amazing and so accomodating. Everyone was wisked into formation to start the ceremony as the rain drops began to fall.
Although it was beginning to rain during the ceremony that did not put a damper on some very sweet "I do's"
After the ceremony we raced to get a couple of images taken with Kerriann and Nick but the rain was coming down too quickly and we needed to retreat. Not to worry when you have your wedding at the Black Swan Country Club...they have a very convenient overhang that keeps you dry and we were able to get the proper outdoor looking shots to keep everyone happy. Thank goodness they had that...here are a few shots from the session.
Before reception started we were also able to get creative on a few indoor shots as well :)
The reception was decorated beautifully and uplighting was a nice added touch.
The reception began with introductions along with the first dance and parent dances. There were some heartfelt speeches, cake cutting and DJ Kevin Cain had them dancing throughout the night. We also want to give Caryl a huge shout out. She is the Senior Wedding Planner for the Black Swan and she did a great job managing all aspects of the day. We wish Kerriann & Nick all the happiness in the world!!
We have been very fortunate over the years to have done weddings all types of venues and locations, but never have we done a wedding at City Hall in Boston.
This story begins with Jonathan & Mark getting together 12 years ago. I have personally know the both of them for almost as many years through family connections and have seen their relationship grow to what it is today...true love and a true family. They have an amazing 1 year old son Noah who is as cute as they get.
We started out at Boston Common to get some family images and images with just as a couple before grabbing a taxi to City Hall. From there you will see what 12 years of committment looks like as they say their vows.
We say congrats to you and your young family and may you both have all the happiness in the world!
On a warm Saturday Nicole & Dan were marred at The Wachusett Village Inn, Westminster, MA. All phases of the day were in location such as preperation, ceremony and reception.
Nicole had a beautiful dress and accessories to match. The groom wore a traditional tux suit with groomsmen to match. Flower colors matched nicely with all the bridemaids dresses. Although Nicole and Dan did not do a first look (meaning seeing each other before the ceremony), they went back to back and held hands which was very sweet and some watching shed a few tears.
The wedding ceremony was traditional with an added touch of sealing a winebox with wine and 2 love letters to be opened up to 5 years later.
Some images after the ceremony :)
The reception was had plenty of fun that included the traditional first dance and parent dances along some fun toasts that reminded everyone of how they met and why The bride put together all of the party favors which were homemade jam...yum! Tianna, the Senior Social Sales Coordinator (say that 3 times fast ;) had everything running smoothly so congrats to our couple as we wish them a lifetime of happiness.
I have been with Renee and Bob since they got engaged...I was fortunate enough to photograph their wedding at Church Landing (www.millfalls.com) and when she was pregnant and when Rose was little...this is the latest installment of photographing Rose at their home...and here is some additional awesome news...they are expecting baby number 2!! Such joy and congrats to them!...enjoy the preview...and yes bubbles are a great prop for kids as you can see...also as you can see patience is a virtue since it was so hot out!
