Caila + Lucas | The Dockside Restaurant | York Maine Wedding Videography

Dockside York Maine Wedding Video

Caila + Lucas met their freshman year in college at Colby Sawyer. His good friend Brett was dating Caila's roommate. Lucas came into her dorm room with Brett and his other good friend Travis when Caila was sitting at her desk working on some homework. Lucas always tells Caila that he knew she was the one the second he walked into the room and saw her.

As a couple, they like to spend a lot of time outdoors kayaking, hiking and spend time at Caila's family lake house in Naples, Maine.

When Lucas decided to propose, it was Christmas Eve and they were celebrating the holiday with both of their families. Lucas pulled Caila aside and asked her to go ride around to look at all the Christmas lights in town. They drove to the Nubble Light house in York, Maine to look at the lights and he told her they were going there because she had never been there before. They looked at the lights for a little bit and then Lucas told her that he wanted to give her a  Christmas present. He handed her a large box and she found box after box inside until she got to the smallest box. Inside was a letter that talked about how much he loved her, why he loved her and the last line said "I can’t wait to be standing up on the alter with you."  With the reading of the last line, that's when Lucas got down on one knee and popped the question!!

Caila + Lucas were married at The Dockside Restaurant in York Maine on Saturday June 17th.  It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime, Zach + Iris}

Red Barn at Outlook Farm Maine Wedding Video

Spenser + Mary Kate got married on June 10th at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm.

They met in the fall of 2010 at Saint Joseph's College of Maine through mutual friends and officially began dating on January 25th 2011.  Soon after they started dating, they began a long distance relationship when Spenser joined the Army in 2013, and was away at training and then South Korea for year.  When Spenser was done in Korea, he was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO. and moved there from Korea in March 2015.  Mary Kate was able to visit him that April.

April 25th 2015, they went to a place called Crystal Creek Reservoir at Pikes Peak. They were sitting there taking in the view and talking about what the future has in store for them and that's when Spenser got down on one knee to propose...and of course Mary Kate said yes! They continued the long distance relationship from Colorado to MA until January 24th 2017 when Spenser was finally finished.

After years of long distance they honestly just love being together....grocery shopping, the gym, making dinner. They love spending time in Portland, traveling and experiencing new things as well as spending time with friends and family!

It was such an honor to share in their day.  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Film!  {Jaime}

Union Bluff Meeting House Maine Wedding Videography: Stephanie + Andrew

in Union_Bluff_Wedding_Stephanie_Andrew.png

Stephanie + Andrew knew each other because Andrew works with Stephanie's dad and brother as a local police officer.  One day they met at a local bar and Andrew kept asking Stephanie to go out with him.  She was playing hard to get and then one night decided she would go because "he would pay for everything", and that was the start of their relationship!

They love to go to the beach, movies, drive-ins, play with their dog, enjoy concerts and Boston sports games.  When Andrew proposed, they were on vacation in York, Maine.  He asked Stephanie to pack a sun dress because he wanted to go out to dinner to celebrate their anniversary while up there since they weren't able to on the actual day. The morning of July 6th he asked her if she wanted to go to dinner at the York Harbor Inn. They decided they would spend the day at the beach and then go to dinner early. The tide came in early that day and his sister-in-law asked Stephanie if she wanted to get her nails done to "kill some time" since the beach was not an option anymore. So they went to the salon with and came home to get ready for dinner. Andrew's dad drove them to the York Harbor Inn because the parking was not ideal and his brother came along for the ride. They dropped them off out front and Andrew said, "You've got to see this really cool area over here. You can get a really great view of the ocean." Having never been to York, Stephanie thought nothing of it... and we walked over through the park across the street.  Once they got to a spot where there was a little inlet he said, "Look how beautiful it is." and Stephanie was looking out at the gorgeous view when she kept feeling something near my leg. She looked to her right and there he was down on one knee. Nervously she laughed and kept saying, "NO YOU ARE NOT". He asked and Stephanie just stood there--finally after realizing what was happening she said yes. His brother snuck around and caught the whole thing on camera from the beach.

Stephanie + Andrew had their ceremony at  Star of the Sea Church and reception at the Union Bluff Meeting House, both in York Maine.  It was such a great day to share with them!  Enjoy the Sneak Peek Wedding Film!  {Jaime}

Westin Hotel Portland Maine Wedding Videography: Jessica + Dan

Posted by Jaime Wood on Tue, Aug 23, 2016 @ 02:57 PM

in Westin_Hotel_Portland_Maine_Wedding_Video

Jessica and Dan first met in 2010 when Jessica was attending Saint Anselm College and Dan was working for Nissan in Tewksbury.  They enjoy many of the same hobbies, including biking, hiking and snowmobiling.  Most of their summer weekends are spent at Dan's family camp on Ossipee Lake or at Jessica's family home in Maine.  Their all time favorite spot is on the island of Nantucket.

When Dan proposed, it was during a fall weekend getaway to Bar Harbor.  They had planned a trip full of hiking, biking, and sight seeing.  After a delicious dinner of oysters, lobster, wine and decadent desserts, Dan asked Jessica to go for a walk through the park by the waterfront.  As the two walked, Dan stopped at a park bench and gestured to Jessica to have a seat as well.  They both sat and gazed at the sparkling waters and gorgeous yachts.  Jessica then turned to Dan and there he was down on one knee with the most gorgeous ring she had ever seen.  She couldn't believe this moment was actually happening after all the times she had dreamt about it!  They rejoiced in the moment and celebrated with ice cream cones!

Jessica and Dan had a church ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine with a reception at the Westin Hotel.  It was such an honor to share in their day.   Enjoy the Sneak Peek Wedding Film!  {Jaime}

ViewPoint Hotel Maine Wedding Video: Caitlyn + ReyDel

Posted by Jaime Wood on Wed, Jun 15, 2016 @ 09:30 AM

Viewpoint Inn York Maine Wedding

Caitlyn and ReyDel met on the dating website OKCupid. There is a section of the site where you can rate someone on a scale of five stars. It turns out they both rated the other a five, and an automated message was generated to each of us, saying someone was interested. Rey, in her smooth way, messaged Caitlyn saying she had received this message and wanted to know if it was automated or from Caitlyn. That, of course, got Caitlyn talking and explaining the process to ReyDel. After many texts, they met a month later at Chuckster's Mini Golf in Chichester followed by dinner at Margaritas where we shut the restaurant down. The rest is history!

When Rey decided to propose, she seeked out the help of Caitlyn's best friend Stephanie to help surprise Caitlyn at their favorite date place, the Nubble Lighthouse. Rey and Caitlyn woke up that morning with the intent of just taking Stephanie to Maine to hang out with Caitlyn's family and do some shopping (or at least that is what Caitlyn thought).  After some shopping, Caitlyn was getting upset with Rey because she wasn't opening her car door for her like usual.   But little did Caitlyn know that the ring was in the side door and she didn't want her to see it so she kept getting in the car before her.  They finally arrived at the lighthouse and Caitlyn's parents just "happened" to be there.  Rey took Caitlyn down to the rocks with the excuse of taking pictures and looking at the ocean.  While Caitlyn's Mom, Stepdad, and Best Friend stayed at the top of the rocks Rey got down on one knee and asked Caitlyn to marry her.  She didn't actually say anything until Rey said, "Please answer. My knee is really starting to hurt." She said "YES"....

Caitlyn + Rey love to get together in a group of friends. They play board games, make signature drinks, or play games outside with their dearest friends and their children. They also love going on adventures to new towns, exploring the Maine coast or cuddling with their two dogs, Pistol and Trixie. They also like cooking together and going to hockey games and taking dance classes.

Caitlyn + ReyDel got married at The ViewPoint in York, Maine.  It was such an honor to share in their day.   Enjoy the Sneak Peek!  {Jaime + Brandon}
