Christine and Spencer were married on June 30th, with a ceremony and reception at Mount Sunapee Resort.

It’s not often that we get to see so many people from all over the country coming to New Hampshire, but for Christine and Spencer, the flood of loving, supportive friends and family members was amazing to see. Even though it was very, very, very hot and humid, nothing could stop the party atmosphere that followed Christine and Spencer and their friends as they celebrated the day.

We especially loved to photograph the flower girl, who was super cute. Almost every wedding has someone like her to completely steal the show and the hearts of everyone at the wedding. But that was typical of the whole group: nothing could slow them down.

My second shooter, Bruce Preston, and I photographed both Christine and Spencer as they got ready and then headed to a first look. The moment that Spencer saw Christine for the first time was unforgettable, as was the way he embraced her. This is what wedding photography is all about: those moments of pure, unfiltered emotion.

Mount Sunapee Wedding Photography

We also loved photographing at Mount Sunapee Resort. You could see for miles with the view, and any picture that shows off that picturesque scenery is among our favorites of the day. Can you blame us? While Mount Sunapee is often known as a skiing location, it’s also perfect for a summer wedding, with mountains in the background as well as a lake view that caught our attention as soon as we arrived to the venue. We would definitely love to come back here in the future and would recommend it as a great wedding destination for any future brides and grooms.

We want to wish Christine and Spencer all the happiness in their new lives together. Thank you for asking us to be part of your wedding memories!

Caitlyn + Mike's Wedding

Caitlin and Mike were married on June 23rd, with a ceremony at Fuller Gardens in Rye and a reception at the Victoria Inn in Hampton, New Hampshire.

Caitlin + Mike: Fuller Gardens Wedding Photography

These two began their love story when Caitlin moved to the same town as Mike. As Mike put it on their actual wedding day, he swooped in before anyone else could ask out this beautiful woman. It’s obvious that they’re both glad he did. The two of them are deeply in love and even have a baby boy together, with another one on the way.

We loved how they made sure to keep their whole family involved in the day. Lorenzo, their little boy, was the perfect ringbearer for the occasion. It’s clear that they’re ready to be a family of four, so we tried to capture as much of that love and excitement as we could as we photographed them throughout the day.

We were able to get some amazing pictures at Fuller Gardens while we were doing portraits. Thankfully, the weather held out for us just long enough for us to take full advantage of the beautiful spot. I can’t believe we beat the rain—the skies opened up when we weren’t trying to take those outside pictures, so we timed it perfectly. I’m particularly proud of the photo of the two of them through the tree branches. It just spoke to me—especially in black and white.

The Victoria Inn Wedding Reception

After the ceremony and wedding portrait photography, we headed to the Victoria Inn and Pavilion in Hampton for the wedding reception. The garden Pavilion at the Victoria Inn is a beautiful New Hampshire wedding venue, surrounded by fragrant rose bushes and lush greenery. There was so much love as friends and family celebrated Mike and Caitlin’s new adventure as husband and wife.

Mike & Caitlin, thank you for letting us be part of your celebrations. We want to wish you and your growing family the best as you take on the world together. From what we’ve seen, we know your future is bright.

Kelsey + Ryan | Backyard Wedding

Backyard Wedding NH Photography

Kelsey and Ryan were married on June 16th, with a ceremony and reception at a private residence in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire.

I was personally excited for this wedding, as Kelsey went to the University of Maine, which happens to be my alma mater. Having a personal connection like that honestly makes weddings more fun! Ryan went to the University of New England, but he was still fun to photograph too, of course.

Both Ryan and Kelsey have an amazing connection with their friends and family, especially because they met because of those relationships that they hold dear. They made an instant connection at a party with their family and friends, and everyone there could see it. So, as friends do, they encouraged that spark. You can bet everyone at this wedding was excited to see that love story come to fruition! This wedding party lasted late into the evening. A few of their friends even stayed over and pitched tents on the property, so that they could all have a little more time together.

Kelsey and Ryan’s Backyard Wedding

The day of the wedding was the first really warm Saturday of the year. New England weather is often unpredictable when it comes to when seasons decide to change. Not only did we get good weather, but also amazing backdrops all over the property. When we arrived to do some “getting ready” shots, we were rewarded with a gorgeous summer shoot. Kelsey and Ryan put in so much work for this backyard DIY wedding. They rebuilt a barn on the property and even had a hand-built arbor. Those details make all the difference in weddings—and they mean even more when you add in that much effort.

Everyone in the wedding looked so happy and relaxed through the afternoon. One of the benefits of a backyard wedding is the rustic feeling of intimacy that it creates. It was a beautiful day for this couple to begin the rest of their lives as husband and wife.

Kelsey & Ryan, we wish you nothing but the best in your new life together. Thank you for pulling together an amazing wedding that we won’t soon forget and, of course, thank you for having us provide your New Hampshire wedding photography! It was an honor.

Alyssa + John | Currier Museum Wedding

Currier Museum Wedding NH Images Photography & Video

Alyssa and John were married on June 9th, with a ceremony and reception at the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Both Alyssa and John are attorneys—which is actually how they met. In fact, both of their families are filled with fellow law professionals, and it was Alyssa’s Aunt Helen who used that connection to get these two together. She set them up at a new lawyer function, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Currier Museum Wedding Photography

We were impressed with the venue that Alyssa and John chose for their wedding. Weddings at the Currier Museum are a treat for Manchester wedding photographers. The art museum was a unique choice, but it reflected their personalities perfectly. With plenty of nooks and crannies that my second shooter, Bruce Preston, and I were able to take advantage of for portraits. Every corner inspired creativity and the colors from the artwork provided a beautiful backdrop. The museum has a wide, handsome stone staircase they use as an aisle to the altar. Alyssa descended the staircase, making for some dramatic, beautiful pictures of her grand entrance.

One image, in particular of the two of them on the stairs was so special. The light fell just right, so that it looked like they were posing for a romantic movie poster. It honestly looked like a spotlight had fallen on the two of them. Add to that the fact that they couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, and the romantic ambiance was complete.

Alyssa & John, thank you for letting us be part of your summer wedding celebrations. It was an honor to provide your wedding photography. We enjoyed getting to see such a unique wedding and know that the two of you will continue to walk your own paths together.

Brittany + Scott | Loon Mountain | Wedding Photography

Once upon a time Brittany + Scott met in high school and through the years fell in love. That love brought us all together on June 30th for an amazing wedding at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. Even before the wedding happened, Brittany + Scott mentioned they were really looking forward to seeing all of their friends and family in one place. Currently our couple lives in California so seeing everyone is not an easy everyday happening.

Photography wise, we covered the important parts of the day from getting ready to the reception. Although there was no specific maid of honor or best man there was plenty of fun with a bridal party of 11 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen!

loon mountain resort wedding photography nh images 3

The ceremony was up at the summit of Loon Mountain. The views are absolutely amazing, and after a touching ceremony we had pictures of family, bridal party and our couple to get done. The challenge with all of this is there were severe thunderstorms all around us. If there was even a rumble of thunder, the gondola would shut down for 45 minutes…thus threatening the day. So we literally finished an hours worth of photos in 15 minutes…I’m still sweating! As soon as we made it down it started to rain and rain hard…phew…we made it!
