Alyssa and John were married on June 9th, with a ceremony and reception at the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Both Alyssa and John are attorneys—which is actually how they met. In fact, both of their families are filled with fellow law professionals, and it was Alyssa’s Aunt Helen who used that connection to get these two together. She set them up at a new lawyer function, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Currier Museum Wedding Photography
We were impressed with the venue that Alyssa and John chose for their wedding. Weddings at the Currier Museum are a treat for Manchester wedding photographers. The art museum was a unique choice, but it reflected their personalities perfectly. With plenty of nooks and crannies that my second shooter, Bruce Preston, and I were able to take advantage of for portraits. Every corner inspired creativity and the colors from the artwork provided a beautiful backdrop. The museum has a wide, handsome stone staircase they use as an aisle to the altar. Alyssa descended the staircase, making for some dramatic, beautiful pictures of her grand entrance.
One image, in particular of the two of them on the stairs was so special. The light fell just right, so that it looked like they were posing for a romantic movie poster. It honestly looked like a spotlight had fallen on the two of them. Add to that the fact that they couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, and the romantic ambiance was complete.
Alyssa & John, thank you for letting us be part of your summer wedding celebrations. It was an honor to provide your wedding photography. We enjoyed getting to see such a unique wedding and know that the two of you will continue to walk your own paths together.
