Shattuck Golf Club Jaffrey NH Wedding Videography : Heather + Gerry

Posted by Jaime Wood on Wed, Jul 29, 2015 @ 12:22 PM

Shattuck Golf Club wedding video

When hurricane Irene decided to make her presence known in New Hampshire, Heather moved back to UNH early to avoid the storm and went to a bar called Libby's that night.  Gerry came to the campus that night with his brother Lance and they ended up sitting at that same table that Heather and her friends were at.  It was perfect timing because they were just thinking about leaving.  With a love of spending time with family and friends, traveling and trying new things, it was fitting that they were watching Heather's nephew ice skate for the first time when Gerry pretended to fall down on the ice and instead got on one knee and popped the question.

Heather and Gerry could not have asked for a more perfect day.  I love Gerry's reaction when he sees Heather for the first time and when he sings their first dance song to her, it's priceless.  We had so much fun working with these two.  Thank you for letting us share in the day!  Enjoy the Sneak Peek!  {Jaime + Dave}

Longlook Farm Sanbornton NH Wedding Videography : Melissa + Fred

Longlook Farm Sanbornton NH wedding videographer

It was a conversation started on Match.com that brought Melissa + Fred together.  On an early Saturday morning Fred surprised Melissa with breakfast in bed .... lucky charms, a bagel and coffee on a tray covered with tiny red hearts and a single rose.  On the tray was also a small wooden box with the ring in it.  When Melissa opened the box and Fred got down on one knee, she was so excited that she almost flipped over the breakfast tray!  And with a screaming YES, the next chapter in their love story began.

After a lot of planning over all the little details, with the amazing help of Mindy from Private Weddings + Events, their day came together at Longlook Farm in Sanbornton NH.  Nestled in the middle of nowhere you will find this rustic and gorgeous private property with a barn perfect for intimate weddings.

I had so much fun working with these two.  Thank you for letting me share in the day!  Enjoy the Sneak Peek!  {Jaime}

Three years ago, Olivia and Pat met at one of the most romantic places around .... while at work at Target.  =)  Since then, they have enjoyed spending time together with their dachshund Bob while going on walks/hikes.  They also enjoy spending time at the family lake house, cooking and traveling.  Pat proposed while on vacation in Jamaica and they chose to have their wedding at LaBelle Winery because of their deep love for wine.

07.16.10 Karen & Joe's Highlight Wedding Video

Posted by Jaime Wood on Wed, Jul 21, 2010 @ 08:35 AM

Last friday, I was excited to head to the seacoast for Karen & Joe's wedding.  The ceremony was held at St. Theresa's in Rye Beach and then the reception at the Sheraton in Portsmouth.  It was an absolutely perfect summer day weather wise, and Karen & Joe are so sweet together.  Karen looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and what amazing details in her dress and accessories!  Check out their highlight wedding video below.  All my best, Jaime.

Videography Wedding Services - A Top Choice

Posted by Jaime Wood on Fri, Feb 19, 2010 @ 02:43 PM

Is it enough to just have a photo of you and your groom standing at the altar? Or would you also like to hear the vows you said to each other and share that with your future children and grandchildren? Is it enough to have a photo of your first dance as a married couple - or would you like to hear the song you danced to and see the results of your ballroom dance lessons?

Why Choose Video?

Bride Dancing

Professional videography captures life's most precious and beautiful moments--as they actually happened. And what is more important to hold onto the sights and sounds from the most important day of your life--your wedding day! Every bride will agree that the day goes by so quickly and becomes quite a blur when looking back on it.

Only video gives you the chance to preserve the complete story of your wedding day. It will allow everyone to relive your wedding day as it actually happened: to see you walk down the aisle, to hear your voices as you exchange vows and rings, to hear and see the toasts, the music, your first dance at the reception.

Whether you opt for all day coverage, or just a little, your videography options today are exciting, elegant and unlimited! And each can be completely tailored to suit your individual needs and requests.

Things to consider when hiring a videographer:

  • What kind of equipment do they have?  Is it broadcast quality, with the ability to capture in true widescreen or High Definition?  Do they use wireless mics to ensure you'll be able to hear your vows?
  • What kind of experience do they have working weddings?  A videographer that has only worked on film/tv production or concerts will not have the same eye and editing sense for a wedding.
  • Do they do this full time or is it just a part time thing for them?  Someone that does this full time is more invested in your day and how your final DVD will look.

Most importantly both of you must feel confident that this videographer will perform professionally and inconspicuously, and deliver a great video.

Best Man Speech

Here are some questions to ask when interviewing videographers:

  • How many cameras/videographers?
  • Are any special effects used?
  • Do you do interviews with family, wedding party, guests?
  • What is the style of the video?
  • Is a deposit required? What about a payment schedule?
  • How many DVD's come with the package? What is the cost for extra DVD's?
  • How is the DVD packaged?
  • How many hours are included?
  • When does coverage start? How much will be captured?
  • How is overtime handled if you do not book an all day coverage?
  • Does the videographer maintain the original videotapes? If so, how long?
  • Does the videographer maintain a master copy?
  • Can changes be made to the video?
  • How far in advance must book your video?
  • What is the cancellation policy?
  • Can you select the background music, and is there a large selection to choose from?
  • Are on-camera lights used?
  • Is the videographer familiar with the site selected?
  • What will the videographer's attire be?

Some facts from recent surveys

  • 98 % of newlyweds recommend brides have their wedding videotaped.
  • Before the wedding, 52 % of brides consider video a "Top 10" service; After the wedding, 75 % of brides consider video a "Top 10" service.
  • 98 % of brides surveyed used the services of a professional photographer.

Those who used both photography and videography agreed that video does a better job of:

  • Capturing the emotions of the day
  • Recording the history of the day
  • Creating a visual memory that future children will enjoy more.

When asked, "If you had a choice between looking at your grandparent's wedding photos or their wedding video, which would you choose?" 61 % of brides said they would rather see the video.

Your wedding video is not "just a video," but a family heirloom that will be cherished for generations to come. If you think about it, a video is not expensive, it's simply priceless!
