Andover Country Club Wedding Video, Andover MA : Christine + Frank

Andover Country Club WeddingChristine + Frank got married on a beautiful fall day in late-September at St. Francis in Medford with a reception at The Andover Country Club.  Every so often, we get the chance to get to know a couple deeper than the initial phone consultation and booking and sometimes we even become good friends.  Leading up to the big day I had several phone conversations with Christine about all sorts of topics and she even hooked us up with Game 6 World Series tickets and we were lucky enough to see the big win in person at Fenway.  So when the day finally arrived, I couldn't wait to share in such a momentous moment in Christine + Frank's lives.

Such a fun, loving couple, the day was amazing.  Christine + Frank, Thank you for letting me share in your day and provide you with a one of a kind wedding video!  Much love to you both and here's to years of happiness!

Emily + Evan | Alyson's Orchard | NH Wedding Videography

I can not express how amazing it is when couples take the time to write their own vows for their wedding ceremony.  It adds such a personal touch to the day and creates truely, one of a kind wedding films.  Emily + Evan were one of the sweetest couples that I have gotten to work with.  Not only did they write their own vows that didn't leave a dry eye in the crowd, but they were also so brave to get into a row boat and row out into the middle of Sarma's Pond and get onto the raft to get the most amazing shots!  They had a simple cocktail reception which I thought was great idea because it allowed them to spend more time with their guests and got everyone up on the dance floor that much sooner.  I can't thank Emily + Evan enough for letting me share in such an amazing day!  Here's their Sneak Peek!  Enjoy!

Kristen & Rick's Wedding Highlight Film - Atkinson Country Club

Atkinson Country ClubOn May 21, 2011 I had the pleasure of working with Kristen & Rick to capture and create their wedding film.  They got married at a gorgeous church in Bradford, MA and had their reception at The Atkinson Country Club.  What a great day it was all around!  After almost two weeks of constant rain and cloudy, cold weather, the clouds parted and gave way to the perfect spring day for Kristen & Rick.

I loved their color choices of greens and browns, and wait until you see the giant cupcake and flips that Rick did during their intros!  I had so much fun working with them on their day, and getting to know them prior to the wedding thanks to Facebook!  Thanks again Kristen & Rick for letting me share in such a special moment in your life!

Check out their Highlight Film below.  All my best, Jaime.

07.03.10 James & Meagan's Wedding Day Highlight Video

On July 3rd, we captured Meagan & James' very special day at Sky Meadow.  This sweet couple got engaged in Walt Disney World and they incorporated that magical dreamland into the details of their wedding day.  From Meagan looking like Cinderella in her gown, to the castle cake, and fun Mickey & Minnie statuettes to the awesome up lighting and bubble machine, Meagan and James were definitely the Prince and Princess of the day!  This is their highlight video!

All my best, Jaime.

Cinematic vs Documentary Wedding Videography

Ring Shot

If you are in the process of choosing a videographer, you'll want to familiarize yourself with the different styles of wedding videos that are out there: Cinematic & Documentary.

Cinematic videography/editing is defined as a "filmy" look.  This style aims to increase the emotional impact through use of slow motion and transition effects, saturated colors, creative camera angles and dramatic music.  It has that "wow" factor to tell your story in a unique way.  A cinematic filmed wedding can cost you a lot more and tends to be the most obtrusive of techniques due to the multiple cameras and videographers, lights, and equipment.

Documentary videography/editing focuses on simply capturing the day, as they happen, in the order they happen.  This type of editing can have very little cut out of the final DVD, little to no dramatic camera angles, music added or special effects used.

At NH Images, our style is a combination of cinematic and documentary.  We focus on telling the story of your wedding day in a way that is dramatic, artistic and fun to watch without sacrificing any of the important moments of your day.  Your final DVD will have your ceremony, toasts, and any other moment of significance in their entirety but intertwined with those dramatic transitions and special effects.  We also provide our Cinematic "Looking Back" recaps and Custom Highlight Videos in our packages so that you have the option of just watching a "mini-movie" of your day, or everything as it unfolds.

Our main goal, aside from capturing the feeling and emotion of the day, is to make your final DVD watchable by anyone, without giving them the urge to press the fast-forward button.  =)
